NEW PRODUCTS AND OLD FAVOURITES
» » Business Micros’ stand at the FIT Show
will feature all of its most popular software
packages – from Evolution to the EvoNet
business management system, now offering
direct to server logging of product deliveries,
and a new high level stock management
system complete with 38 page online
manual.
The show will include a first look at a new
cloud based version of its EvoWeb online
ordering systems. Already used by a number
of fabricators to allow their installers to order
online, it has been revised and updated by
Business Micros so that it will work off line
for the first time as well.
Installers can now generate quotes from
within the software which are separate from
the online ordering function, and can use the
software on their choice of tablet or mobile
thanks to a smart new redesign.
The Business Micros stand will be set
up to provide continuous software demos
and there will be regular screenings of a
new video produced to show exactly how
the EvoNet business management software
works – tracking a frame on its journey
through a paperless factory.
‘all of its most popular
software packages’
Business Micros is sharing stand G30
with its sister company BM Aluminium.

LIFE BEGINS AT 40
» » The Glass & Glazing Federation will be
using the 2017 FIT show’s ‘BIG Tuesday’ to
mark its 40th anniversary.
BIG Tuesday is where the show, at the
NEC in Birmingham between 23rd and 25th
May, extends its opening hours to 8pm,
offering a relaxed ‘after hours’ atmosphere –
a time when some will argue the best deals
are done.
James Lee, Director of Marketing and
Communications, said: “Our stand for this
year will reflect our 40th anniversary year
and will include a special ‘Life Begins at 40’
members lounge.
“The FIT Show is a perfect opportunity
to celebrate our 40th anniversary with the
industry, and we are looking forward to
welcoming both members and non-members
for a few drinks and some fun entertainment!”
‘The FIT Show is a perfect
opportunity to celebrate’
And as well as popping the champagne
corks at ‘BIG Tuesday’ the GGF will also be
presenting on three key topics at The FIT Show
2017.
Brian Smith, Director of Home Improvement,
will be discussing resolving disputes; Technical
Officer Russell Day will be speaking on glazing
in conservation areas, and Phil Pinnington,
Director of Health and Safety, will be covering
accidents in the industry.
