NEW PREMIUM PRODUCT LAUNCHED
»»BI-FOLD DOOR
specialist, TWR Bifolds, is
delighted to announce that it
has added an innovative, new
aluminium system to its product
range.
The company will now
be manufacturing Synseal’s
WarmCore system. WarmCore
is an innovative, aluminium
folding sliding door system,
which incorporates a radically
different product design approach
to deliver a new high performance
glazing solution.
Managing Director, Terry
Richardson, says the decision to
expand its range further will allow
TWR to continue offering its
installers the latest, cutting edge
products.
He comments, “We are always
looking to add products to our
portfolio that are truly innovative
and high-performance, so installers
have the very best windows and doors
to take to market. WarmCore ticks
both these boxes and is a high-quality
aluminium solution that offers
peerless thermal performance.”
WarmCore features a 70mm
front to back frame with a multichambered PVCu core, clad
in aluminium. It also boasts a
thermal core, which significantly
out-performs the polyamide
thermal breaks commonly used
to reduce the threat of a cold
bridging on aluminium windows
and doors.
The deal struck with Synseal
to start supplying Warmcore
coincides with the announcement
by TWR bi-folds that it will be
opening a new factory.

‘Game changing’ new window
»»ASTRASEAL,THEWELLINGBOROUGHbased PVCu and aluminium trade fabricator, has
announced it can now manufacture windows
and doors with Modus, Eurocell’s ‘game
changing’ new profile system.
The result of a £3m investment by
Eurocell, the various Modus options boast
the look and performance of aluminium and
timber but without the weightier price tags,
giving installers and homeowners the best of
both worlds.
Astraseal Marketing Manager, Zac
Nedimovic, comments, “With its seven
or eight chambers and various aesthetic
options, Modus is a truly innovative system
that will help our customers differentiate
themselves in an increasingly competitive
market. Modus can achieve U-values as
low as 0.7, which exceeds even Passivhaus
standards, and is made with 50% post-
consumer recycled PVCu, so has the green
credentials that modern consumers are
looking for.”
“One of the major benefits of the Modus
system is its versatility,” Zac continued.
“Modus has three sash options, standard,
slim and flush, and can be finished in over
thirty colours, including the sought-after
shades such as Quartz Platinum, Asphalt,
Crown Platin and Agate Grey. We can also
colour coat Modus frames in any RAL
colour, courtesy of our in-house spray
booth.”

NEW PVCu WINDOW IS A SMOOTH OPERATOR
»»DEKKO WINDOW SYSTEMS, THE
Lancashire based-fabricator behind the highlyregarded Räum range of premium-quality
doors, is launching its latest innovation in
the form of Räum Infinity, a new selection of
PVCu windows and doors featuring smooth
timber-style joints.
The range is manufactured using
revolutionary graf welding technology and
aims to capitalise on the buoyant timber
alternative market, which Dekko has already
tapped so successfully as a leading supplier of
Residence 9.
The main USP on Räum Infinity can be
found on the corner joint. Where traditional

PVCu frames feature unattractive 3mm corner
grooves left behind when excess plastic from
the manufacturing process is removed, Dekko
uses state of the art machinery to force this
unwanted material inside the frame, thereby
eliminating the corner weld and leaving
behind seamlessly smooth timber-style
joints.
Dekko Sales Director, Kurt Greatrex,
comments, “For many consumers, the big
drawback with PVCu has been the unsightly
corner weld, but with Räum Infinity that is
no longer the case. With its beautiful smooth
finish, Räum Infinity looks more like a
wooden window than PVCu. The seamless
weld is a genuine leap forward in PVCu
window technology.”
