FIT SHOW 2016
A DUO LAUNCH FOR LEADING FABRICATOR
»»Polyframe’s attendance at this
year’s FIT saw the launch of
Yale’s Smart Living system being
added to its portfolio of existing
products along with windows
and doors manufactured using
Eurocell’s Logik 70 chamfered
and sculptured profile.
The award winning,
independent manufacturer
and supplier of PVCu
trade windows, doors and
conservatories demonstrated
how the convenient and easy
to use Smart Living system
can offer consumers a key-free
secure solution when entering
their homes.
The smart lock was brought
together on the stand fitted to
a PVCu residential door and
Polyframe’s representative
demonstrated to visitors how;
the Secure by Design lock can
be opened by using a keypad
control which can be set to
give access to family members
even if there is no one at home,
uses optional key fob or a
Smartphone to gain access,
and how additional modules
including Yale’s Smart Home
Alarm and CCTV system can be
added.
Simon Locker marketing
manager for Polyframe
commented: “The new Smart
Living system is a great addition
to our range. The system is
the next generation of locks
for the market and it gives
our customers the chance
to enhance their offer to
homeowners.
“We wanted to use the show
to meet with new and existing
customers, and it’s been a
great opportunity for us to
demonstrated the benefits of
the Yale Smart Living system
and the new Eurocell Logik 70
windows and doors.
“The system offers our
customers a choice to give their
customers a more aesthetic
style of window in a choice of
different colours, including duo’s
black/white and Anthracite grey/
white.
“We have thoroughly enjoyed
this year’s show, the best ever
so far and looking forward to
FIT 2017 at the NEC.” Simon
adds.

THE MASTER PIECE OF ALL MASTER PIECES AT FIT
»»Creating the ultimate masterpieces is what
the UK leading trade fabricator Camden
Group set about doing at this year’s FIT
Show.
Displaying a compilation of exquisite
pieces from its Inliten window range,
alongside an assortment of resident and
composite doors, Camden demonstrated
how with a little creative thinking installers
could create their own style, design or
colour.
Camden produces a range of window and
door variations from scratch; with all aspects
of production from extrusion to frame and
glass production managed in-house to create
its eco-friendly Inliten window system.
An extensive glass processing plant at its
site in Antrim also allows Camden to reduce
carbon footprint and produce its own glass
sealed units for use in its windows, doors,
bi-fold and sash windows.
Andrew McAteer, group marketing
manager commented about exhibiting at
the show: “Our aim at this year’s FIT Show
was to not only demonstrate the company’s
capabilities and continual drive for
innovation, but to get people to think outside
the box a little and not be tied to normal
conventions.
“Windows don’t have to be rectangular;
they don’t have to be white or a wood-grain.
Especially on our composite doors, we are
seeing more and more colourful ‘creations’
and even on windows we are seeing a big
increase in RAL spray-painted colours.
“Over the past couple of years, Camden
has opened nine trade counters across
the UK, supported by dedicated sales and
customer service teams in each branch. With
such broad coverage, the FIT Show was a
perfect opportunity for us to showcase our
capabilities and products to friends old and
new.” Andrew added.
The art pieces which were a feature of the
stand, made up of a collection of brightly
coloured windows, attracting visitors entering
and exiting Hall 3 at the show on to the
Camden stand, with many coming on to the
stand to take selfies with the artwork in the
background.
“The stand attracted a lot of attention and,
all in all the show has been very beneficial
for us in terms of lead generation and
extending our profile to the market.” Andrew
concluded.
