Leading PVCu trade fabricator The Glazerite UK Group Ltd take great pride in the fact
that it places its customers at the core of everything it does. This shone through on the
nationwide trade fabricator’s stand at this year’s FIT Show with a marketing hub geared
up to give installers practical advice and the tools to deliver their marketing effectively.
»»The stand itself clearly demonstrated the
sheer breadth of the Glazerite portfolio with
many enhancements to existing products.
There were also some exciting new products
including the Palladio Composite door range
from Profile developments, Synseal’s new
Warmcore window system and Swiftglide
integral blinds to complete any installation
job to a great standard.
Clearview caught up with group marketing
manager Michelle Wright at FIT to find
out more about the company’s quest to
offer installers much more than just great
products.
“We’ve been working hard over the last
few months to develop some great tools for
our installers to use with their customers,”
Michelle explained, “these include a sales
presenter to take their customers through
key benefits and product ranges, which can
be fully branded to align with their business
and offering. We already offer our installers
a free branded website, but we’re currently
developing this further to add further
personalised pages and make it fully mobile
responsive.
“The market is changing and so are the
way people shop. Many of our customers
don’t have the time or resources to invest in
websites and digital marketing channels in
response to this. We’re taking the pain out of
it for them, by offering them the tools to do
it, whilst maintaining their company image.
We’re also on this journey ourselves, we’re
completely revamping our website to make
it mobile friendly and easier to share content
on the site across social media platforms.
Love or loathe the online world it’s now a
necessity for all businesses, so initially we’d
l ike to take those of our customers who need
it through these steps in the best way for
their business.”
Michelle continued: “We work with trade
companies of all types and sizes, including
contractors, commercial specifiers, housing
associations and local authorities. But the
real beauty of what we offer is it is completely
customisable to the needs of each and every
business. Our customers can cherry pick
from the wide range of benefits open only to
Glazerite customers.
“And it’s not just our installers we build
partnerships with; we’ve built some great
longstanding supplier partnerships with some
of the most reputable names in the industry,
such as VEKA, Maco, Doorco, Solidor, and
Residence 9. These companies allow us
to go to our trade customers with added
confidence and the fact that many of the
businesses we work with are market leaders
in their respective fields makes our offering
even more attractive.”
Over the three days of FIT Show 2016,
Glazerite managed to talk to hundreds of
contacts demonstrating some of the great
products available and its marketing support,
which will prove invaluable over the coming
