their factory making record
players, Shirley joined M. Marcus
Ltd in 1995 to take up the sole
position of master keying
operative. Throughout her long
service with M. Marcus Ltd
Shirley has held positions as
supervisor within the pinning
department and worked very
closely with their customer base
within the sales office.

commented
“Shirley takes great pride in the
fact that she was responsible for
the construction of the very first
master keyed Iseo product
distributed in the UK and has
been a true stalwart of the Iseo
brand within the M. Marcus
business. She has been a total
credit to the company, and I have
personally worked along side
Shirley for most of those years
and without her great service and
helpful nature we can be pretty
certain that we wouldn’t have

we have over the years and we
will miss her greatly.”

alongside her for over twenty

as pinning operative to recently
as supervisor and our team has
grown from one individual

announced her retirement date
for the 26th of April 2019.

things a little easier and spend
some time with husband Stan in
my vegetable and flower
garden.”

New departments created for group expansion

The new divisions will mainly
focus on the GGF Group’s
commercial companies including;

insurance broker
• RISA; the inspections and
auditing service
• Borough IT which delivers
digital and software solutions
for GGF Group and its
clients
On the re-organisation, Kevin

Executive commented, “In 2018,
we conducted the first phase of
the GGF Group’s strategy plans
by establishing the organisation’s
growth plans, appointing a new
senior management team and
researching our customer base and
the industry extensively. We are
pleased to move positively into
phase two with greater and more
focused resources to carry out our
considerable plans for the next
three to five years.”

The GGF External Affairs
Department will focus on the
GGF’s PR, events, market research
and increasing the GGF’s footprint
in the political arena. James Lee,
its Director said, “As the GGF
Group is expanding, this is a very
positive approach for the GGF
and its commercial subsidiaries.
I am looking forward to working
more on the political side of the
Federation and increasing our
influence with key Government
departments. In addition, we
will be increasing our marketing
support staff to ensure we continue
to deliver high quality services and
benefits for our Members.”
Meanwhile, Commercial
Group Sales and Marketing
will concentrate on delivering
sales and marketing campaigns,
product launches and brand
development to grow the GGF’s
commercial subsidiaries.
Anda, the new MD of this
department added, “The GGF
commercial team’s aim will be to
help companies who are part of
the GGF’s subsidiaries grow their
businesses. We will be unveiling
more details on our plans and
recruitment for the commercial
marketing department in the
coming weeks and months.”
