Key appointment strengthens digital marketing

GLAZERITE GROUP HAS appointed Lauren Edwards as Digital Marketing Coordinator to further strengthen the company’ s digital marketing strategies. Lauren will work closely with Group Marketing Manager Michelle Wright to develop what the company sees as a core element of its marketing strategy for 2018.
Lauren brings top line experience in digital marketing to Glazerite after previously providing a wide range of services for clients at a digital marketing agency. From website content and search engine optimization, right through to social media management, Lauren was responsible for delivering client goals across a
wide range of media and industries and will now develop such services for Glazerite’ s customers. Michelle Wright said the appointment will enable Glazerite to further increase the marketing support the company provides to its customers:“ Lauren’ s skillset is the perfect fit for what we need in the business. A focus on the digital tools for our installers has been a big part of our marketing support over the last few years. But over the last year we’ ve seen more and more of our installers spending thousands of pounds on various areas including social media and SEO.”

VBH( GB) ADDS TO ITS SALES TEAM with the appointment of Matt Edney as Area Sales Manager for the South East, and Wayne Hewlett as External Technical Sales Support.
Matt started his career in the British Army( Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers) before moving to the construction industry where he has worked for over 20 years’ in senior sales manager positions. He joins VBH with a wealth of practical and sales experience.
He comments:“ I’ m looking forward to the challenge. VBH has some great products, including our own greenteQ range. We’ re the largest hardware distributor in Europe so there’ s plenty of opportunity to generate new sales, and of course, I aim to ensure that all VBH customers in my area receive excellent customer care.”
Wayne Hewlett has extensive experience in the window industry, including technical support roles at a number of systems houses. Since joining VBH, he has undergone intensive product training, particularly on the manufacture and installation of greenteQ Invisifold products. Wayne’ s role will be to
support customers in all aspects of hardware assembly to ensure smooth operation of the product and satisfied end users.
