Unicorn Letterplate remains one of the few
letterplates on the market that complies with
the requirements of PAS24:2016, the latest
standard for enhanced security performance.
Trojan’s TS008 Unicorn Letterplate is a
masterclass in the type of intelligent design
for which the company is known. It features
an inner protective housing with a unique
concealed hinge mechanism to prevent attack,
an inner lap with a positive stop feature for
maximum protection from ‘fishing’ and a
projection that is below door handle height
for added protection. It is manufactured from
304 Stainless Steel for ultimate corrosion
resistance and has simple but elegant styling
that will complement any doorface. It is
suitable for both Composite and PVCu doors
and is available in an array of colours as well as
Polished, Brushed and Satin Stainless Steel and
PVD Gold.
PAS 24:2016 is a primary reference in the
Building Regulations Approved Document
Q1, which relates to security in dwellings.
It supersedes the requirements of PAS:2012
and changes to the latest specification include
more robust requirements for letterplates
and a wider scope that increases the range of
security doorsets.

Link Vent Mk2 - a next-generation trickle
vent from Glazpart. Designed for both
new-build and the Repair, Maintenance and
Improvement (RMI) markets, the innovative
redesign allows homeowners to position the
vent so airflow efficiently passes through while

Complying with Building Regulations Part
F1:2010, the new Link Vent Mk2 incorporates
aerodynamic features to help direct airflow
through the vent. The external canopy has
been reduced to just 25mm for improved
noise reduction and a more attractive
external appearance without affecting airflow

Available in two sizes, 2500 EQA delivers
similar performance to a traditional 4000mm2
vent while the 5000 EQA is significantly
better than a 4000mm2 vent. The 5000 EQA
also features a split internal flap for ease of use
and added comfort.
