CONSERVATORIES

New Lean To Offering

This new version of the WARMroof product from Prefix Systems has been developed using a steel formed panel to provide the aesthetics of a zinc roof, making for a modern and contemporary appearance.

THE INNOVATIVE SECRET FIX standing seam roof material delivers excellent aesthetics, performance and eco-credentials and is being increasingly specified on both new build residential and refurbishment projects. One of the most prominent WARMroof installations was carried out by longstanding customer, Artisan Conservatories & Windows in North Wales.
In this case study, the lean-to was designed to replicate the pitch of the existing stone cottage with a grey WARMroof incorporating two Velux rooflights, while the windows,
doors and guttering were specified in golden oak. The raked frame has also allowed for additional light and the vaulted ceiling has really helped create a true sense of space.
Chris Baron, co-director of Prefix Systems concluded:‘ WARMroof is the best performing solid roof in the market and the
new contemporary lean to offering down to 5 degrees is another USP for our customers. Product innovation is now very much part of the Prefix DNA, along with exemplary levels of customer care.’

HOMEOWNERS ARE PLANNING ON SPENDING MORE ON HOME IMPROVEMENTS IN 2017

»»
THE LATEST RESEARCH from home services marketplace, Plentific. com, shows that, on average, almost a quarter of homeowners are planning to spend more this year on home improvements in at least one area of the home. This emphasises that there will be a continual growth in the popularity and reliance of home improvements throughout this year.
After flooring, our results showed a planned increase of spending on the kitchen, bathroom and interior decor, which were the runners-up with
27 %. Increased spending on the living room and bedroom then ranked third, both with
25 % aiming to invest more in these rooms. They are followed by the garden, which 20 % of
homeowners plan to spend more on this year, when compared to 2016. However, homeowners were less concerned about spending more on updating their conservatory( 18 %), appliances( 17 %) and lighting( 17 %).
Spokesperson for Plentific, Stephen Jury, said:“ Our statistics illustrate the growing shift in demand for home improvements across the UK. Nearly a quarter of homeowners are upping their budget this year for at least one area of their property with flooring leading the way.”
