INNOVATIVE FABRICATOR Whiteline and long-standing installer partner Window Wise( Sussex) have worked together to deliver a glazing solution for a prestigious commercial project. Private preparatory school Cumnor House Sussex has developed an exciting new, £ 3 million STEM( Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) building on its site in Danehill, near the Ashdown Forest, East Sussex.
Internally it contains three science labs, 3 classrooms and a Design & Technology suite. The school’ s strong environmental principles are reflected in the incorporation of sustainable technology in the structure, including Solar PV panels, air source heat pumps, rainwater harvesting and energy efficient glazing. Interestingly, elements of each system are visually exposed, to become practical, educational tools for the school’ s pupils.
The installation consists of Whiteline manufactured ALUK aluminium frames in architectural grey( RAL7016), with 37 flat contemporary sash casement windows and 15 doors sets, all with slim-line aesthetics and expertly fitted by Window Wise.
Cumnor House Sussex is proud of its exceptional and dynamic new facility, brought to fruition by a team of professionals featuring George Baxter Associates( Project Architects), Gould & Company( Contract Administrator) and Luke & Luke Construction, in tandem with Window Wise and Whiteline who have extended their collaboration into another successful commercial installation.

WINDOWS, DOORS, BIFOLDS AND patio doors from leading manufacturers Reynaers and AluK are now available with five-day lead times unglazed and ten days glazed. These include Reynaers CF68 bifold and CP130 lift and slide patio doors.
Also now on offer with shorter lead times are AluK’ s 58BW windows and 58BD doors, high performance yet cost-effective solutions for residential or commercial properties, as well as the BSF70 bifold, which offers excellent, Secured by Design-accredited security without compromising on a premium and versatile design.
