TWO DECADES ON
»»TWO STAFF MEMBERS OF
Vista have been rewarded in
recognition for 20 years of loyal
service. Office manager, Nicola
Brown and purchasing manager
Chris Warrington, who have both
been with the company since it
was first established in 1995, were
presented with gold watches as a
thank you for their two decades
of dedication to Vista.
“I’ve always believed you can
judge a company by how it treats
its staff,” said Vista Managing
Director Keith Sadler. “The fact
we’ve been able to keep people
for two whole decades just shows
how much we’ve succeeded in our
aim to be an excellent, supportive
place to work.”
Chris commented: “I’ve
thoroughly enjoyed my time
at Vista and am proud to have
played a part in our growth
from humble beginnings. I’ve
seen lots of changes at Vista but
our commitment to providing
customers with the very best
products and service has remained
constant.”
Nicola echoed Chris’s
comments: “The economic
climate hasn’t always been rosy
during the last two decades
but we’ve ridden the storm and
come out stronger the other
side.”
There were plenty of other
causes for celebration at Vista
during its twentieth year in
business. The fabricator saw a
50% increase in fire door sales, a
30% rise in coloured composite
doors and an 11% rise in
contemporary-style doors. With
a £100k investment in a new
CNC router, Vista also increased
its door production from 700 to
1,000 a week on a single shift.
Looking ahead, “We released
our new XtremeDoor brochure
in January, which featured the
range of our different colour
options. Later in the year, we’ll
be launching a new composite
door range,” Keith continued.

One Size Does
Not Fit All
Richard Kirman, Sales and Marketing
Manager for IG Doors Trade Division,
explains the theory behind the
Truedor Partner Programme and
why they are so excited about being
able to offer a package of support
where one size does not fit all…
»»“I GUESS YOU COULD
say, just like as with our doors,
everything is made to measure –
one size absolutely does not fit
all. In our view this is especially
important when it comes to
marketing.
“As with many things in
our business and our service
offering, we try to do things
that little bit differently. Detail
is really important and we are
very keen to treat each and
every one of our customers as
individual businesses.
“The essence of the Truedor
Partner Programme is that we
work with each of them to
understand and assess their
needs and then we tailor our
support package to meet those
specific requirements.
“For example, the needs
of a business with a large
showroom are entirely different
to the needs of a one-person
business – they are both equally
important to us as customers,
but it would be foolish of us
to think that we could offer a
support pack that meets both
their needs. It simply wouldn’t
be beneficial to either of them.
“The Truedor Partner
Programme will be at the heart
of our FIT Show offering this
year and the stand has been
designed to demonstrate the
different levels of support
available to meet the demands
of different installer businesses.
Visitors to our stand will be
able to see tangibly what we can
offer them in terms of support.
It will be a really exciting stand
and a great opportunity for us
to work with customer groups
at all levels of the industry.
“We believe our Truedor
Partner Programme is
something very different from
the support offered by others in
the market and we look forward
to welcoming visitors to our
stand at the FIT Show to see it
for themselves.”
