Everything’s Moving on Up
With the market still continuing to see progressive
growth, reports are suggesting companies are gaining
more confidence, making moves into new markets
and further investment, helping their business grow.
Examples such as fabricator,
Rooms and Views, an established
manufacturer with a proven
track record of supplying PVCu
windows and doors into the
newbuild sector. The Flintshirebased company is now pushing
on with investment in new
product lines, machinery and
the development of its customer
service, to attract trade installers.
With the general elections
looming, we are seeing a buzz
of activity from the pre-election
campaigns, including encouraging
reports of how a government
scheme launched in 2012 for
small business ‘Start up Loans’
has just achieved a milestone of
25,000th approved loans, taking
the total amount lent to new
firms to nearly £130m.
Bringing your attention
to a profiled feature in this

section for BM TRADA,
the Timber Research and
Development Association,
highlights new opportunities
manufacturers could
gain from promoting the

‘Lockex’, in forthcoming months.
The exhibition is set to be held

the Ricoh Arena, Coventry in September
2016.
The event is being organised by the
Clearview Group, whose published trade
titles include; Clearview, Pro Installer and
The Farmers Mart, and will be primarily
promoted through its market leading
publication ‘The Locksmith Journal’.
