Limited has partnered with Yale Door and
Window Solutions to offer the Yale Revolution
window hinge across its fully reversible profile
suite in domestic applications.
The partnership is part of the EU-funded
GATESHEAD HEIGHTS project, a
£4.5m social housing initiative that aims to
improve energy efficiency in homes across the
Gateshead area.
The project, which was completed in
December 2018, saw six blocks of flats fitted
with the Yale Revolution window hinge. That
will be 468 properties in total, approximately
3,276 windows.
David Logan, commercial director for

The Yale Revolution Window Hinge is a
fully reversible window hinge with a unique
patented dual function restrictor. It is the only
hinge in the industry to offer this dual function

windows in multi-occupancy social housing

Thanks to its unique patented dual closing
function, the hinge can be switched at
installation between anti-blowback and easy
close functions depending on specification and
housing requirements. The onsite configuration
allows for increased flexibility across housing
associations with multiple building types and
also helps reduce time and costs associated with
returns or contractors carrying high levels of
stock.
