100TH APPOINTMENT AFTER MILESTONE YEAR
Sash window specialists Roseview has kicked off the year with another important milestone .

HAVING ALREADY CELEBRATED forty years in business last year , and made a landmark Fensterbau debut in March , the long-standing Olney firm is now marking the appointment of its 100th employee .
Beginning life as a humble local fabricatorinstaller in the 1970s , Roseview quickly rose to become a sash window innovator , producing the world ’ s first uPVC sash window product in 1985 , and the launching the acclaimed Rose Collection in 2013 .
Rapid growth , particularly since the mid- 2000s , has brought with it a significant jump in employee numbers .
In 2017 , the firm produced 25,000 sash windows , and topped £ 9m turnover , up from
£ 8.4m in 2016 , which was itself a recordbreaking year .
Sales Director Richard Burrells comments : “ Appointing employee number 100 is a perfect opportunity for us to stop and pay tribute to the amazing people who ’ ve worked for us over the last forty years .

Fire resistant glazing at FIREX 2018

THE GGF FIRE RESISTANT GLAZING Group ( FRGG ) is raising its profile with an increased presence at FIREX , this June .
On 19th to 21st June , at the London EXCEL , the Glass and Glazing Federation ( GGF ) will be highlighting the importance of Fire Resistant Glazing and why building contractors , designers , architects and specifiers should ensure they are using trusted qualified companies such as GGF members to carry out the supply and installation of fire resistant glazing .
Adrian Blaydon , GGF Technical Officer and Secretary of the FRGG commented ,
“ Over the last twelve months , the subject of fire-resistance within construction has been very much in the spotlight . The Guide to Best Practice in the Specification and Use of Fire-Resistant Glazed Systems will be launched at FIREX , offering assistance as to how glass can play its part in a building ’ s fire strategy .”
Also , at the show , GGF will showcase a video on how fire-resistant glazing installation can provide valuable time in event of a fire , and deliver its ‘ Fire-rated Glazing – Getting It Right , Getting it Wrong ’ presentation .

WHICH FENSA INSTALLER WILL HIT THE 13 MILLION MARK ?

FENSA is excited to announce the number of installations completed and self-certified by FENSA installers , is expected to reach 13 million in late May or early June .
