THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE PRODUCT
» » FREEFOAM IS DELIGHTED
to announce the launch of three
new short videos to promote
the business online and through
social media. Showcasing the
faces behind the product, and
the production and distribution
facilities located in Northampton,
all three give a real insight into
how PVC building products are
made and distributed from start
to finish.
Colin St John, Commercial
Director commented, “The
essence of the project was
to showcase the scale of our
operation, the varied processes
that go in to manufacturing a
plastic product and last but not
least, we wanted to recognise our
teams – the people behind the
product.”
The production facility video
features Freefoam’s 21-metre-
high ‘mixing’ plant, and 3,840m 2
manufacturing plant illustrating
how the virgin powder is mixed
and blended to produce the raw
material and then skilfully heated
and processed on extrusion lines
to produce a range of products
includi ng fascia, soffit and
guttering. Processing over half a
million product lines throughout
the year involves careful
coordination and accuracy between
Distribution and Customer teams.
This video highlights how products
are stored, picked, packaged
and despatched to customers
throughout the UK.

BFRC WELCOMES
NEW ADDITION
REBRAND GOES NORTH
» » THE GLAZERITE UK
Group has completed the latest
phase of a large-scale project
to rebrand all premises and
delivery vehicles by the end of
2018. Glazerite’s north west
manufacturing arm, based in
Bolton, has been the latest site
to receive the new company-
branded signage, plus directional
and safety signage. The full fleet
of vehicles has been with new
livery, while the retail focused
look is also used on the large
advertisement at the site, which
is viewed by the many motorists
of the busy M61.
Group Marketing Manager
Michelle Wright explains, “We
planned to rebrand our site
signage this year and refresh the
livery on our vehicles as part of
our transition from Glazerite
Windows Ltd to The Glazerite
UK Group.” Following the
relaunch of Independent Network
(IN) last year we decided to
rebrand our fleet of vehicles to
align with the organisation’s new
look and branding.”
‘a great
advertisement’
Karen Lund, Head of
Independent Network, adds,
“As we become more consumer
focused and with the volume of
potential customers travelling
on the busy motorways each
day, the new vehicles are a great
advertisement for the successful
partnership of Independent
Network and Glazerite UK
Group.”
