Online Ready
»»Truemans has always
recognised the importance of having a good,
effective online presence, and has seen visitors
moving in large numbers from accessing its
website on computers towards predominantly
using tablets and mobiles.
In the light of this, the trade counter
business has developed a new website, which
implements a fully responsive design, so
they can offer all visitors the best experience
possible regardless of what device they use.
Managing director, Joe Trueman,
comments: “We have completely revamped
our website to reflect the level our business is
at right now, and the fully responsive aspect
is paramount for gaining better exposure to
potential customers.
Joe added: “Our clients are busy people who
spend a lot of time on the road and onsite, but
use the information on our website and our
ordering system on a daily basis. The new site
looks, works and reads well from any mobile
device they might use between jobs, allowing
better access to all the products and services
we offer, anytime, anywhere.
Truemans Windows’ brand new, fully-responsive website
“We have invested heavily in our online
presence to make sure we offer the same great
experience remotely, as we do in our branches.
The online ordering system is a convenient
way to buy products, but it’s also helping
our clients sell more to the end consumer
thanks to features such as Uplift, which allows
them to produce professional, customised
quotes and email or print them on the spot,”
concluded Joe.

»»Things are heating up at PDS
in preparation of managing director Tim
Fairley and Commercial Director Pat Rice’s
participation in the Granfondo Stelvio Santini
Challenge. On the 7th June, the pair will be
cycling over the Teglio, Mortirolo and Stelvio
Passes in Northern Italy to raise money for
Springhill Hospice, Rochdale.
No strangers to charity fundraising PDS
recently became established business buddies
of Springhill Hospice. This year they are going
all out in order to raise as much money
as possible for the hospice which will help
contribute to some of the excellent work they
do within the local community.
Tim and Pat will be travelling to Northern
Italy to take part in the gruelling challenge of
cycling over two of Italy’s highest mountain
passes in The Granfondo Stelvio Santini. They
will start at Bormio in Northern Italy and
finish at an altitude of 2758m at the top of the
Stelvio Pass travelling via the Teglio and the
Mortirolo (1727m), covering 151 km and a
total ascent of 4058m.

They have been training hard for the event
over the past few months, regularly embarking
on 5am cycles before work and weekend
cycles across the Pennines. Both are keen
to be on top form for the event in order to
ensure they cross that finish line in good time
and represent the company well. PDS has set
a target to raise £10,000 and so far are about
half way to achieving this. They are relying on as
many of their suppliers, customers, friends and
colleagues to get behind them in this demanding
challenge to raise as much as they can.
