Masco UK Window Group reaches
Agreement to acquire Evolution
Masco UK Window Group (UKWG), the UK’s largest PVCu window and door
fabricator, has announced that it has agreed to acquire the assets and business of
Evolution Manufacturing Ltd. The addition of the pioneering, Bedfordshire based,
timber-alternative manufacturer will strengthen Masco UK Window Group’s
position as an industry leader and supports its ambitious growth strategy.

in 2004, has quickly established
itself as a pioneer in the
manufacture and supply of
timber- alternative windows and
doors, and is widely recognised as
a market leader for quality, service
and product innovation. This
pending acquisition represents
a strategically complementary
move by Masco UK Window
Group. UKWG currently
intends to maintain Evolution’s
manufacturing headquarters
in Bedfordshire and does
not anticipate changes to the
current organisational and sales
structure.
The acquisition will create
a leading full service frame,
glass and composite solutions
provider for the UK market, by
bringing together Masco UK
Window Group’s manufacturing
and marketing capabilities with
Evolution’s innovative, nextgeneration product expertise.

Terms of the acquisition were
not disclosed. Completion of
the acquisition is subject to
compliance with certain corporate
and regulatory requirements and
is expected to be completed in the
second quarter of 2015.
