New Assistant Manager at Rudridge, Brentford

promoted Richard Mansell to
the position of Assistant Branch
Manager at its Brentford branch,
following Rachelle Wiese’s
transfer to Rudridge Horsham.
Richard has been working
for the company for over four
years, joining Brentford as a Sales
Executive in 2014.
Richard said: “I am delighted
to be taking up the role of
Assistant Branch Manager at

EX RAF WING COMMANDER STEPS INTO MD ROLE

Grafton to the business as its new Managing
Director.
Matt said: “It is an exciting time for

New to the glass and glazing industry, Matt
has built up his extensive managerial experience
as a Wing Commander in the Royal Air Force.
Over the course of his 20-year RAF career, Matt
has accumulated over 130 operational missions,
been awarded a Queens Commendation for
Valuable Service (QCVS) and Commanded
the Royal Air Force Operational Training
Simulation Facility.
Matt will succeed Steve Taylor, who will
step into the new role of Commercial Director,
whilst taking steps to retire. Steve commented:

company. Matt’s cohesive and regimented
managerial experience and skillset will allow us

BSC ANNOUNCES TWO SENIOR
EXECUTIVE APPOINTMENTS

has appointed Paul Fakley – previously of Travel
and General Insurance Service – as Engagement
Director; a new post in the organisation.
Paul said: “Workplaces around the world
are changing dramatically and the role of the
BSC needs to evolve to meet those needs,
and keep workers free from injury and illness.
I look forward to working with the senior
management team, trustees and broader
business to build on recent initiatives and
reaffirm the BSC Council’s position as the

At the same time, Dave Parr has joined
as Policy and Technical Director. Dave has
been heading Audit and Technical Services at
the organisation for the last six years and has
worked for BSC since 2005.
Paul brings with him 26 years of marketing
and business development experience
gained in B2B and consumer-focused roles.
Commenting on his appointment, he said:
