4. TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOORS
Masterdor, Synseal Group’s GRP and solid
timber door manufacturer, tallied more than
29,000 doors last year with many more expected
for the year to come. Based on the average
housing occupancy in the UK, that’s enough doors
to renovate all of the houses in a large town like
Maidenhead. Over the past year more than 1500
of Synseal’s solid, engineered Craftsman timber
doors were manufactured for housebuilder Avant
Homes, who are well-known for their innovative
approach to design and specification of quality,
high-end products. Avant Homes is also the only
house builder to offer bi-folding doors as standard
in all its homes and will be using Synseal Group’s
WarmCore folding sliding door range for its new
specification houses this year.
6. 1.7M SQ/FT OF
MANUFACTURING SPACE
The manufacturing, warehouse and
office spaces across Synseal Group’s seven
sites equate to 1.7 million sq/ft – that’s the
equivalent of around 39 Premier League
football pitches. The largest site, based in
Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire, can house 12 of
these pitches on its own.
5. TOP SELLER IN CONSERVATORY ROOFS 7. 100+ VEHICLE FLEET
Synseal Group is well known for its wide range of conservatory roofs, which includes
K2 and Global as well as the new Stratus fully thermally broken lantern roof system. In its
first six months, more than half of Synseal’s roof fabricators had signed up to sell Stratus,
making it one of Synseal’s fastest growing product ranges. Overall Synseal is one of the
UK’s top sellers in conservatory roofs, selling around 17,000 fabricated-on-site roofs in
the last year and many more via their bar length roof fabricators, giving Synseal a share of
around 50% of the UK market. Synseal Group has a whopping 100+ vehicles
in its delivery fleet spanning Synseal, Masterdor,
Sheerframe and Global Glass. Covering the
whole of the UK, it’s not unusual for their
drivers to clock up more than two million
miles a year. That’s the equivalent of driving
from John O’Groats to Lands’ End and back
again 1,144 times!
