Universal Arches has just signed a deal
to sponsor St Helens Rugby League Club
pitch side at its stadium at Langtree Park.
»»The club known
affectionately as the ‘Saints’ has
a history that dates back to 1873
and in more recent times in
2012 moved to the new purpose
built stadium opposite Universal
Arches 24,000sq ft facility.
Paul Sculthorpe MBE, one of
the most famous and distinguished
players in recent times for the Saints
and former captain was also on
hand to meet Leon Day, managing
director of Universal Arches.
Universal Arches has a long
established reputation in the area
and the opportunity to support the
local rugby league team has gone
down well within the workforce.

The billion pound club
Conservatory Outlet’s continuous growth
has earned the company a place on Insight
Data’s Top 30 Fabricators by turnover.
»»Collectively, the top 30
fabricators in the UK amassed sales of almost
£1 billion in 2014, rising 6% compared to
2013, to £971.8 million. The individual
turnover needed to make the top 30 has also
increased, from £10.9m in 2013 to £12.3m
last year.
The Yorkshire fabricator is one of only two
new entries in the top 30, ranking 27th out of
1,534 PVCu manufacturers.
