INSTALLERSUPPORT Installers get informal introduction at open day » DEKKO WINDOW Systems is celebrating a recent Open Day; where the Dekko team recently took over the stunning Residence Collection showrooms in Gloucester to give installers in the area an informal introduction to the timber-effect range. The event generated a positive turnout from both local installers and home improvement companies, with considerable interest surrounding Residence², Residence 7 and the marquee Residence 9. In addition to product displays and demonstrations, the event provided an opportunity for installers to quiz teams from both Dekko and Residence, and ask any questions. Break-out sessions took place throughout the day covering all things technical, surveying and installation. There was also a masterclass from Sarah Hitchings, Sales and Marketing Director at Residence. Kurt Greatrex, Sales Director at Dekko comments: “We’re absolutely delighted with the positive response to our recent open day. As one of the UK’s largest Residence fabricators, we saw it as a fantastic opportunity to really showcase this valuable range and buoyant market to a new group of ambitious installers. It was also a tremendous opportunity to highlight the valuable proposition Dekko offers as a nationwide supplier.” www.dekkowindows.com FIVE STEPS IN FIVE MINS: FENSA makes it even easier to join. » IN AN EFFORT TO ensure a hassle-free application process for its new members, FENSA has announced the launch of a brand-new membership application form designed to simplify the process of becoming a FENSA Approved Installer. FENSA Customer Service Manager, Rachel Culpan, added: “Our application process has always been straightforward but now it’s the most efficient it has ever been. The new FENSA online form takes less than five minutes to complete and, combined with the fact there’s no application fee if you’re switching from another competent person scheme, we’re seeing substantial numbers signing up.” The streamlined application format features a five-step process developed to make joining FENSA easier than ever. Any members making this switch to FENSA from other schemes also enjoy the guarantee of there being no additional joining fee. These recent changes to the application process form just part of the latest IT developments at FENSA, which have resulted from the launch of its Installer Portal in September and the success of the FENSA TV advertising campaign which began airing earlier this year. www.fensa.org.uk NEW PRODUCTS, SYSTEMS AND SOLUTIONS ADDED TO SHOWROOM » OFFERING SPECIFIERS AND installers an unrivalled offering of glazing systems and solutions, C.
