New PR partner for
fundraising favourite
» GM FUNDRAISING,
which has raised almost £2
million for Hope House
Children’s Hospices since
1995, has just announced
the appointment of Team
4 Marketing as its new PR
partner.
Team 4 Marketing was
founded in 2004 and offers PR
and marketing services across the
fenestration, construction and
manufacturing sectors. And, the
new PR partner has joined GM
Fundraising at an exciting time
because 2020 marks the 25th
anniversary of the organisation.
All the events throughout the
year will have a silver jubilee
theme.
GM Fundraising is best
known for putting the ‘fun’ into
fundraising, with its spectacular
gala dinners, annual golf days,
GMF Cup, Ryder Cup style golf
event, long-distance cycle rides
and footy fives competition. The
most recent additions to its events
calendar have been its ladies only
event and next year’s challenge
has just been announced. Called,
Peak, Paddle, Pedal, it will see
participants climb Snowdon,
canoe a 150 mile stretch of the
River Severn and cycle 150 miles
back to Hope House in Oswestry
all in eight days.

18th Fastest Growing UK Business
» BRISANT-SECURE IS THE
eighteenth fastest growing
company in the UK, according
to the Sunday Times Virgin
Atlantic Fast Track 100, published
on Sunday December 1st 2019.
Brisant believes this is down to
two factors.
The Fast Track 100 is measured
over a three-year period.
During the years of this report
homeowners have become more
aware of their home security
weaknesses and after doing very
little research, they realise that
unskilled intruders can be in their
home in under 10 seconds. They
then start searching for the best
protection possible. The Sunday
Times reports Brisant’s Ultion and
Lock Lock sales growth at 111%
every year for these three years.
“What separates our products
is designing them to achieve as
much as possible and not down to
a standard. Whether it be doing a
1,100,000 lock cycles when only
100,000 are needed, 8000+ weather
test hours when 240 are needed
or having the only Sold Secure
accredited door handle on the
market,” says CEO Nick Dutton.

STATEMENT ISSUED FOLLOWING
PANOGLASS ADMINISTRATION
Following news that Northampton-based Panoglass Ltd has entered administration,
Panoramic Group Ltd has offered reassurance that the other divisions
within the Group continue to trade successfully and financially securely.
» ALAN REES, THE COMPANY’S
Managing Director said: “Despite significant
and ongoing injections of cash since we
acquired the company a year ago, it has
been impossible to bring Panoglass Ltd
to profitability and the decision to place
the company into administration to stem
substantial losses became inevitable.

“Although we had introduced a number
of innovative new products together
with advanced manufacturing and
management processes, the UK market
for insulated glass units remains difficult
in terms of fluctuating demand and which
has brought a number of other similar
companies to their knees. We regret that
we too have been unable to overcome
the deeply rooted difficulties facing this
sector.
“The other divisions of Panoramic Group
Ltd are unaffected by the decision, continuing
to enjoy strong demand for high quality,
innovative products and with an excellent
financial base.”
