‘Rapid expansion gathers pace’

appointments as its rapid expansion gathers
pace.
Paula Gledhill joins as PR and Marketing
Manager for the Ascot Group, which includes
Purplex and sister company Insight Data,
and will head up PR, awards and media
distribution for the group.
Paula has previously worked for the BBC
as a broadcast journalist, television researcher
and producer/director, before moving
into marketing and PR in the food and
e-commerce sector.
New Digital Account Executive Christy
Riddell joins Purplex after working in
account management for 21 years managing
client relationships at board level and below
for FTSE100 and NHS Foundation Trust
clients.
And the SEO team has been strengthened
by the appointment of Nikita Mohide.
Having completed a placement year at
Pfizer in the digital marketing department,
Nikita graduated from Aston University
in psychology and business and has joined
Purplex as an SEO Executive.
It takes the total number of employees at
the agency’s headquarters just outside Bristol
to 68 and all three are set to play a big part in
the company as it moves into 2019.

appointment of Richard Hall to the position
of Managing Director for the UK subsidiary
of the business. He will oversee the continued
growth as Reynaers expands its trade and
retail offerings and builds on its success in the
commercial sector.
A Birmingham local, Richard has over
22 years’ experience in sales, marketing,
engineering and supply chain roles. He joins
from Schaeffler, where he has held board
positions for over 12 years, leading on projects
across the automotive and industrial sides of
the business in the UK and Ireland.

New Commercial Assistant for growing team

Federation) has welcomed a new member
of staff to the team; Commercial Assistant,
Jaspreet Thiara, will support the marketing
function, and in particular, Patricia
Sowsbery-Stevens, who was confirmed as
the organisation’s Commercial Manager in
September. Jaspreet will be responsible for
undertaking marketing administrative duties
and managing DHF’s website and growing
social media presence.
With a BA Honours degree in Media,
Communication and Drama, Jaspreet
originally pursued an acting career,
participating in local theatre productions

and street theatre, and even spending time
in Los Angeles, before a career in marketing
beckoned. Previous roles have included
Social Media Manager at fashion brand,
Forever Devine and marketing agency,
SEM Consultants; Website Administrator/
Marketing Assistant at Cousins Furniture
and organising a fashion show event in aid of
breast cancer.
“I was very excited to learn I had secured
the position at DHF and believe I can assist
