ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES WITH
BRAND-NEW COMPOSITE DOOR
» » ASTRASEAL, ONE OF THE
UK’s leading trade and
commercial fabricators is
aiming to open new doors for
its customers with the launch of
Tilbrook, the firm’s brand-new,
high-performance composite door
solution.
Designed to complement
Britain’s ever-popular 1930s
housing stock, Tilbrook allows
homeowners to have the
traditional aesthetics of timber
without compromising on
modern-day performance. Whilst
the door is compression moulded
to create a high-definition panel
design with the character of
timber, the slab is manufactured
from durable thermoset GRP.
Furthermore, the stiles and
rails of the Tilbrook door are
manufactured using water-
resistant polymer which is bonded
to the GRP skin and then filled
with an insulating core of 100%
CFC-free polyurethane. Available
pre-hung into a REHAU fully
enforced GRP frame, Tilbrook
can be finished in any RAL
colour, in a wide range of designs
and with a full range of high-spec
furniture and glazing options.
“We are absolutely delighted
to unveil the brand-new Tilbrook
composite door, a product which
I’m sure will generate a fantastic
response from both our trade
partners and their customers,”
comments Colin Stanley,
Operations Director at Astraseal.
“As composite doors have sky-
rocketed, we’ve been there at the
forefront providing our customers
with first-class solutions that
meet the demands of the market.
Tilbrook is the next stage in that
commitment.
“Not only does Tilbrook boast
a highly-desirable design and an
expansive range of options to
match any demand, the door is
available with varying thresholds
and locking options to suit all
requirements and applications.
Not to reveal too much, but we
are even looking at the possibility
of introducing a number of
contemporary panel designs for
Tilbrook in the future, extending
the possibilities even further for
our valued trade partners across
the country.”
Tilbrook is just one of many
new additions added to the
Astraseal line-up over the past 12
months.
With one of the biggest
portfolios in the industry,
Astraseal has built a strong
reputation for high-quality
aluminium and uPVC products
including windows, doors and
conservatories. For over 30-years,
operating from Wellingborough,
Northamptonshire, Astraseal’s
ethos has been to offer exceptional
products with customer service
that goes above and beyond.

Liverpool’s iconic Victorian Welsh Streets of
Toxteth.
The Wirral-based Vista’s XtremeDoor is
the door of choice for fellow Merseyside firm
Warwick Development (North West) and the
Eurocell fabricator installed XtremeDoors in
a range of colours during the first phase of the
redevelopment.
The doors have played a part in helping
Placefirst completely reimagine the historic
Victorian terrace by preserving rich heritage
features whilst introducing several modern
design interventions. The result has seen a
remarkable revival as the properties have been
turned in to high-quality homes for working
families to rent.
The Welsh Streets has breathed new life
into more than 300 empty homes in Toxteth
and will ensure this important part of the
city’s heritage will continue for generations to
come.
Ian Smith, Vista’s Business Development
and Marketing Manager, commented: “We
were absolutely thrilled to hear of the award
wins for Welsh Streets as it is a phenomenal
development.
“As a Merseyside business we were
incredibly proud to be able to support such
a worthwhile project which has revitalised an
iconic area of Liverpool and it was great to see
our XtremeDoor play a part in it.
“We’d like to say a big congratulations to
Warwick, Placefirst and everyone involved
in the project – the honours are richly
deserved.”
Founded in 1995, Vista specialises in
composite and uPVC panels and doors,
supplying to fabricators across the UK and
Europe. Vista was recently acquired by
Eurocell, the UK’s leading manufacturers of
uPVC products. The continued success of the
XtremeDoor now means Vista produces an
astonishing 150 composite doors a day at their
factory in the Wirral.
