A GALA FIT FOR HOPE HOUSE
FIT Show organisers have announced a restructure
to its popular Gala Dinner evening by revising the
format and holding the event in support of GM
Fundraising and Hope House Children’s Hospices.
» » THE EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE ON
Wednesday 22nd May, following the second day
of the 2019 FIT Show exhibition, at the NEC
Resorts World complex, where guests will enjoy
a champagne reception from 7.00pm followed by
a three-course meal served by the VOX’s award-
winning team led by Head Chef Aaron Johnson.
As part of the evening, the FIT Show Award
winners will be announced, and guests will be
invited to participate in a silent auction.
FIT Show event director, Nickie West said:
“We’ve taken on board the feedback of our
audience and will be shaking up the format of the
industry’s much-loved celebratory event, taking
the FIT Show Gala Dinner back to its roots.
“Our guests can expect an intimate evening
of networking, celebrating the fantastic work
that is being done throughout our industry
with the FIT Show Awards and all whilst
helping to raise much needed funds for GM
Fundraising.”
GM Fundraising founder, Gary Morton
added: “We’re delighted that FIT Show will
host its Gala Dinner in support of GM
Fundraising and the fantastic team at Hope
House Children’s Hospices. Our industry is like
no other when it comes to supporting special
causes.
“What better way to celebrate the brilliant
work that is being done across the industry
than coming together for this special evening,
and raising much needed funds for a very
worthy cause in the process?”

FIT Show 2019 will take place at the NEC
Birmingham from 21st to 23rd May and will
feature up to 300 exhibitors from across
the window, door, conservatory and glass
industry.
Get set for a tech takeover
The FIT Show 2019 floor plan has seen an emerging
trend for tech-based companies who are signing up
to exhibit at the NEC next May in their droves.

Business Pilot will be
previewing its new IT solution
designed to streamline processes
for installation businesses, from
lead generation and sales through
to operations, finance and after
service. Director Elton Boocock
said: “FIT Show is the one
opportunity where you get so
much of the installation industry
together in one place at one time
to meet, share ideas, and see new
things.”
Smart Builder will exhibit
as part of Visit Glass, FIT Show’s
debut flat glass feature, and
will showcase its new glass
processing digital and paperless
software alongside award-winning
design tools all of which provide
efficiencies in glass processing. UK
manager, Paul Needham said: “The
UK glass industry has been crying
out for their own home grown
glass show. We get plenty interest
from UK visitors at overseas trade
shows and can only imagine the
interest if there was a show right
here on everybody’s doorstep.”

Business Micros will celebrate
its 40th anniversary in 2019 and
will maximise FIT Show as a
chance to connect with its loyal
customer base and celebrate the
success that they have enjoyed
over the last four decades of
trading. Nicholas Bailey who heads
up marketing for Business Micros
said: “Each year as the show grows,
it is a vital part of our calendar
as we see it as an opportunity to
engage with customers we may not
have chance to otherwise during
that year.”
Aztec Glass will be utilising
the event as a platform to launch
its new glass processing software
which is based on flexibility and
affordability. The Aztec team
will be offering visitors hand on
demos and one-to-one meetings
with key customers, suppliers and
prospects.
