MD IS ‘PITCH PERFECT’ FOR
FORMER PLAYERS ASSOCIATION
» » MIKE DAVIS, MANAGING DIRECTOR
of Gloucester-based aluminium specialists
CDW Systems has returned to his roots,
joining the newly-formed Cheltenham Town
Former Players Association.
Founded in 1992, CDW Systems has firmly
established itself as one of the UK’s leading
manufacturers and suppliers of high-quality
aluminium glazing products for trade and
commercial installation companies across the
UK.
Yet, whilst many within the industry will
know Mike for his 13-year tenure at CDW,
in a career which spanned decades with
Cheltenham, Mike became synonymous with
The Robins.
More than a decade on, Mike returns to
Whaddon Road to join a whole host of CTFC
legends in the formation of the FPA. Their
aim is to not only celebrate and keep alive the
achievements of the club but to encourage fan
engagement and enhance the overall matchday
experience for supporters and sponsors.
Mike comments: “In many ways,
Cheltenham Town and CDW are very similar
with both having a very loyal, dedicated base
and both achieving so much throughout their
history. I’m delighted to be able to combine
both my passions without worrying about
injuries, transfers or the results on the pitch.”

DONATION MAKES A DIFFERENCE
FOR LEEDS CHARITY
A Harehills-based youth charity has thanked Morley
Glass & Glazing for its recent donation of glass
for a door to complete its new gym facility.

Harehills (CATCH) is a registered charity
made up of volunteers who want to make
a positive difference in their local area.
The charity’s multifunctional community
centre named ‘ARK’ in Harehills, Leeds is a
collection of former police training modular
buildings assembled into a two-storey building
and provides activities for children and young
people from all backgrounds.
Now, the charity has been able to complete
a new staff gym facility for volunteers at
ARK, thanks to a generous donation from
Morley Glass & Glazing of a bespoke glass
door, completed with the CATCH logo and
installed by Sutcliffe Windows.
Ian Short, Morley Glass & Glazing managing
director said: “The team at CATCH do a great
job at empowering young people and the
charity is a fantastic example of what is possible
when a community comes together to make
positive changes. We’re glad to have been able to
contribute towards such an important cause and
hope the volunteers enjoy using their new gym.”
