Darts champion chooses
Meridian Composite Door
»»Darts legend Phil ‘The Power’
Taylor has chosen the high-performance
70mm double-rebated Meridian Composite
Door from Phoenix Doors, part of MASCO
UK Window Group.
Supplied in a black finish with chrome
hardware, the new door was installed at
the front entrance of the 16-time world
champion’s home in Stoke-on-Trent by locallybased Supercraft Conservatories Windows as
part of a wider home improvement project.
Supercraft Managing Director Fab
Mogadam said that although his client’s
existing front door was only about five years
old, he wanted to upgrade it for the greater
privacy, superior security and thermalefficiency provided by the Secured by Designaccredited Meridian product.
Within a week of taking delivery, so
pleased was Phil that he has ordered a second
Meridian to replace his PVCu back door.
Fab commented: “Since we started offering
the Meridian range, it has generated much
interest. People are very positive about its
innovative attributes such as triple weatherseals
and 50mm triple-glazing.”
Phoenix Doors Sales Director Haydon
Statham added: “As the newest, premium
addition to our range, the Meridian Door is
attracting attention for its ability to deliver
outstanding weather, energy and acoustic
performance.

New ‘R’ Branded Hardware
»»The UK’s longest
established PVCu sash window manufacturer,
Roseview Windows, has improved its product
offering with the launch of an exclusive range
of premium quality window furniture.
Managing Director, Willie Kerr comments:
“The new furniture was a collaborative project
between our R&D team and one of the UK’s
leading hardware manufacturers. Most PVCu
sash windows use the same hardware you
could find on a timber window and it doesn’t
quite meet the necessary requirements. Our
new furniture on the other hand has been
specifically designed for a PVCu frame for a
much better fit.”
The new hardware features the stylish ‘R’
from the Rose Collection brand and is available
in five colours – gold, bronze, chrome, antique
black and the hugely popular pewter. “The
hardware is exclusive to Roseview so will give
our customers yet another advantage over the
competition” Willie adds.
‘another advantage’
Incorporating full mechanical joints and
Roseview’s exclusive run-through sash horn,
the Ultimate Rose has been accepted in
numerous conservation areas and scooped
