CELEBRATING 30 YEARS WITH SPECTUS
»»Trade Windows Bristol has
been a partner of Spectus Systems since the
company realised the potential of PVCu
windows in 1985.
The company celebrated the 30-year
relationship by signing a supply agreement for
a further three years.
Loyalty and continuity thread through the
company, which sells exclusively to the trade;
some of its 70 staff has been with the firm for
30 years and a number of its customers have
been trading with Trade Windows for more
than 25 years.
Continued expansion has led to the
purchase of an additional factory nearby
where Trade Windows will be relocating its
expanding aluminium fabrication, opening up
more space for PVCu manufacturing.
The company uses the Spectus Elite
63 and Elite 70 systems to produce a full
range of windows and doors, as well as
manufacturing fully reversible, vertical
sliding sashes and patio doors. More than
25 colour foils and triple glazing across
all Spectrum Elite styles ensures almost
unlimited options.
Spectus Systems Sales Director, Wolfgang
Gorner said of Trade Windows: “This is a great
milestone to achieve with Trade Windows,
Bristol and I hope we keep growing together
for another 30 years.”

Supporting the local community
»»As one of the largest
employers in Ross on Wye, REHAU is a
regular supporter of community events in the
Herefordshire town, and most recently was a
keen sponsor of the third annual Ross Gazette
Awards, which recognise the achievements
of local businesses, volunteers and sporting
stars.
REHAU’s Marketing and Technical
Director Gareth Jones was at this year’s
awards ceremony to present the Young
Sports Person of the Year award to Freddie
Hemingway, an England Schools U16 rugby
international.
Gareth said: “We’re a big employer in a small
town so it’s really important that we do our
bit in the local community. These high profile
awards are backed by both the main local
newspaper and the MP Jesse Norman, and
they are a great way for us to fly the flag for
REHAU while at the same time encouraging
excellence amongst local businesses and
individuals.
“As a keen sports fan, it was particularly nice for
me to be able to present the Young Sports Person
award to such a high achieving young man.”
