Branch Manager

Exeter & Mackenzie Glass Centres make up two of the 15 branches throughout the Southwest of England.
We are seeking a Branch Manager, responsible for production processes within the branch, customer services including glazing & distribution along with branch sales. You need to inspire with the proven ability to increase productivity to ensure commercial success.
• Annual branch sales of circa. £ 3m;
• Develop & execute a branch specific sales plan, being responsible for both internal & external customers;
• Ensure all branch activities are carried out in a safe manner & comply with Cornwall Glass & Glazing Limited’ s policies, procedures & standards;
• Maintain the necessary production standards for an efficient & effective‘ Distribution Hub’ & incrementally improve over time;
• Manage, up-skill, grow & develop the branch team appropriately to create a flexible, skilled, customer-focused & productive workforce who can meet customer & business demands effectively;
• Build a customer centric culture within the team to improve customer satisfaction, loyalty & retention;
• Proactively manage branch communication consistently to ensure all employees are kept appropriately informed & have the opportunity to feed into future branch developments;
• Manage the end-to-end operational functions( enquiry- order- factory- transport- invoice);
• Manage the branch overheads accordingly in terms of maximising site profit;
• Ability to persevere & remain positive at all times even when faced with service issues;
• Effective within a team environment with the ability to achieve through others;
• Excellent leadership & people management skills;
• The ability to implement efficient processes, practices, ensuring these are instilled & followed are essential traits for the successful individual;
