BRIGHT IDEA MAKES KEYS GLOW IN THE DARK

TWO GLOW-IN-THEdark, Night Bright colours have been added to Brisant Secure’ s Keycap and Keyring range for Ultion keys.
Homeowners can personalise their Ultion key with Keycap, choosing from one of 10 bright colours so they can easily identify the keys by door or person. With Keyring, homeowners can also track their keys using their smartphone, making them ring when they can’ t find them.
Brisant Secure CEO, Nick Dutton, says:“ The two Night Bright colours make Keycap and Keyring even more visible. They glow in the dark, so homeowners
won’ t be fumbling for their keys anymore. And even though they have this extra benefit, the Night Bright colours are the same price as the other eight colours.
Keyring is fitted with TrackR technology, which links via Bluetooth to a smartphone app. The app shows the user where their key was the last time it was in range of the phone. Also, they can use the key to make their smartphone ring if it’ s lost and on silent.
“ Keys are the one thing we take everywhere,” adds Nick,“ so having an app that means we’ ll never lose them again is priceless.”

Which? firms to trust in the glazing industry

A RECENT WHICH? SURVEY HAS confirmed that homeowners prefer to work with independent, local companies, rather than major, national firms.
The article, published in November’ s Which? Magazine opens:“ The UK’ s major double-glazing firms have been thoroughly trounced by independent brands in our latest survey.... Customers rated the independents in our survey as excellent, giving them five stars for the majority of sales and installation factors, such as quality of products, staff knowledge and the quality of the installation. By contrast, none of the major brands achieved five stars on any measure.”

AUDASI HOLDINGS, which includes award-winning VS manufacturer Quickslide in its portfolio, has announced its acquisition of one the South-East of England’ s longest established
and most respected trade window fabricators, Hertfordshire-based Welglaze.
Founded in 1970, Welglaze built a strong reputation for close attention to detail and product quality, specialising in the fabrication of high-quality PVCu and, more recently, aluminium windows for the trade, together with a full range of residential and sliding doors and complementary products.
Audasi has already proved its intentions for the business by
moving the Welglaze operation and staff to a brand new, purposebuilt state-of-the-art factory in Letchworth, just 10 miles from its previous base. From this new facility Welglaze will continue to fabricate the increasingly popular Deceuninck suite of products in addition to residential and sliding doors, aluminium windows and doors and a portfolio of commercial aluminium products and services.
Further investment will see an increase in capacity and improved
customer service and support systems, including detailed quotation-to-delivery order tracking together with enhanced service and technical support for fabricators.
