Spacer bar experts have
edge over the competition
» WARM-EDGE EXPERTS EDGETECH
won the National Fenestration Awards’
Spacer Bar Manufacturer category with a
staggering 91.5% of the vote.
Held annually, the National Fenestration
Awards is the UK glazing industry’s
only democratic award scheme, inviting
thousands of installers, fabricators and
other industry professionals from across the
country to vote for the best British glazing
has to offer.
Not only did over 90% of voters choose
Edgetech as their Spacer Bar Manufacturer of
the Year, but Edgetech’s Edgetherm RS rigid
spacer came joint third in the New Product
category – a great achievement for a product
that’s only recently been announced.
It’s the icing on the cake for the Coventry
firm, after a 2019 that’s seen it develop a raft
of new products, and mark thirty years of its
flagship Super Spacer.
Managing Director Chris Alderson
comments: “It’s always hugely gratifying to
win an award – but not much beats winning
one that’s voted on by hundreds of customers,
colleagues and friends.
‘a great achievement’
“We’re not going to get complacent
though. In 2020, we’re going to strive to do
even better.”
