DOORS&WINDOWS
An extensive product portfolio and
comprehensive service offering
Originally established in 1992, Bradbury Group has since
flourished into the UK’s largest manufacturer of physical
security products, including steel doors, grilles and cages.
» OVER THE YEARS, THE GROUP HAS
worked to secure infrastructure within an
array of sectors, including utilities, water,
public, social housing, telecommunications,
retail, stadia, transport, and more. Among its
more renowned clients have been McDonald’s,
Wickes, O2, Anglian Water, and SSE, but
the Group has come to support clients of all
shapes and sizes from across the corporate
landscape throughout the two and a half
decades it has been in business.
Today Bradbury Group comprises of
four subsidiaries: Bradbury Security, Martin
Roberts, Liddle Doors, and Newton Security
Doors. Each division has its own products
and capabilities that contributes towards
the Group’s extensive product portfolio and
comprehensive service offering.
Of this vast offering, Bradbury Group is
best-known for producing an extensive series
of bespoke-engineered steel doors. However,
the Group also manufactures and supplies
communal entrances, kiosks, cages, bar sets,
cylinder clamps and bottle frames, and other
solutions.
Thanks to the expertise of its teams within
its member companies, the Group is also
able to offer a fully-coordinated service from
survey and design to delivery or installation,
both nationally and internationally, as well as
project management services.
This year, the Group relocated to a
135,000 sq. ft. production facility in North
Lincolnshire. The headquarters manufactures
the steel doors for Group subsidiaries
Bradbury Security and Martin Roberts.
Over £8million has been invested into the
facility within the past two years, including a
considerable amount spent on state-of-the-art
machinery. This impressive facility also has an
expansive warehouse that can store up to 4000
door-sets.
With improved capability and increased
capacity, Bradbury Group is now capable of
manufacturing a door-set in just four hours,
and has the ability to produce 100 door-sets
per eight-hour shift. Streamlined production
processes and advanced machinery enables the
Group to offer a made to measure steel door
which is manufactured in just three working
days; the shortest lead time in the industry.
This latest development will help Bradbury
Group to grow even further and enhance
its already impressive success in the physical
security products market. Over the past
decade, the Group has seen a five-fold increase
in turnover, and looking ahead it is expected
to see a predicted growth of around 20% per
year, from over £15million to £40million in
the next five years.
Liddle Doors has been a trusted provider of
security doors and associated security products
to the utilities sector for over 40 years,
supplying to several water, telecoms and power
distribution companies, including notable
names such as Anglian Water, Network Rail,
O2, and National Grid.
Their insight and expertise are highly valued
within the sector, as reflected by the key role
they play in delivering security solutions
that align with the Security and Emergency
Measures Direction (SEMD).
Bradbury Group and Liddle Doors have
successfully worked together in a joint venture
for the last couple of years, so the news that
Liddle Doors joined Bradbury Group earlier
in ther year, for many was the next logical
step, commercially for both brands, as they
expand their operations.
Bradbury Group’s mass manufacturing
power, scale and delivery capacity, combined
with Liddle Doors’ renowned expertise in the
end-to-end management of projects within the
utilities sector, will provide a compelling offer
of specialist expertise to their customers. The
addition of Liddle Doors to Bradbury Group
adds a range of new products and services to
the complete security solution package that
each division in the Group is able to offer.
These include LPS 1175 SR3 and SR4 kiosks,
cages and bar sets, hatch covers, bottle clamps,
anti-climb solutions, and associated civil
works.
Ultimately, the vision of this dynamic
Group is to establish Bradbury Group as
a world-class provider of physical security
solutions. As well as its ambition of going
global, the Group is also keen to be recognised
as a notable business and employer within
the North Lincolnshire area. With over 200
employees, the Group is proud to employ an
almost entirely regional workforce. Since its
relocation to a larger premises the Group’s
workforce has grown dramatically, and the aim
