ANNUALREVIEW
A ‘premier’ year for roof company
» » ESTABLISHED JUST SEVEN YEARS
ago, Premier Roof Systems of South Tyneside
is celebrating the end of what has been a
fantastic 12 months. Highlights for the
conservatory roof specialist for 2018 has
included its revenue going up by 45%; which
is no doubt due to sales targets broken every
month throughout the year, launching a full
new range of uPVC and aluminium products;
by partnering with some of the UK’s leading
manufacturers, and the introduction of new
internal processes to meet growing demand
and take the Premier Roof Systems customer
service promise to the next level, for 2018 and
beyond.
From a personnel point of view, the Premier
team has evolved at every level, from taking on
new apprentices to support the local community,
and let young trainees reach their future career
goals, to launching an Approved Installer
Network to offer homeowners and end users
a complete service from design to installation,
to restricting the business by taking on new
member of staff to reinvigorating the board
of directors to allow each member a specific
responsibility: Pouya Bostani – Managing
Director, Chris Mullen – Sales Director, Jamie
Blackwood – Finance & Operations Director.

for Fire Glass UK, as they celebrated its 10th
year in business by investing in production
capacity and employees. The customer-centred
approach focuses on the SQS Fire Glass
Promise: Safety, Quality and Service, along
with their commitment to accreditations,
certification and standards – sets them aside
from their competitors.
Sean Haynes said: “Ending last year with a
move into larger premises for our UK Branch
and Head Office, allowed us to focus on
future expansion. Continuing that this year
by investing in a new Toughening Plant at
Oldbury and a planned move for our North
Branch, allows us to
meet demands for
specialist glass in the
Northern territory.
We’ve introduced
a new glass software programme by Jotika
to help with productivity and a dedicated
Technical Support Department to respond to
customer needs in an ever-changing market.
We would like to take this opportunity to
thank our customers for their continued
support over the years – without them we
would not be where we are today.”
