20 years of “continuity, competency
and the ability to adapt”
» » EKO-OKNA IS A LEADING
European manufacturer of windows and
doors and owes its success to continuous
development, competent staff and the ability to
adapt to constantly changing market trends.
The company has been present in the
market since 1998 and has been changing the
face of the European joinery market for 20
years, building its power from the ground up.
Due to rapid development and the ensuing
lack of production space, the company has
changed headquarters several times. The most
recent in 2009, the company found
a suitably large enough space
in Kornice, to create a huge
production plant to meet rising
demands.
To get a sense of the
company’s success today, Eko-
Okna manufactures from a factory
of 108,000 m 2 , employs over 5000
staff, exports to 35 markets, has over 9000
trade partners and produces 7000 windows
daily. The company puts its success down to
its main strategy of continuous development
while ensuring the highest standards and the
best quality of products. They also recognise
the requirements of foreign markets are
very high and can be extremely difficult for
foreign companies to enter, yet despite this the
company exports 85% of their production to
other European countries, the United States,
Canada and Australia.
Focusing on development,
the manufacturer has recently
implemented the warmest
Energeto 8000 system on the market.
Energeto has high thermal parameters.
The steel has been replaced with plastic, and
the glass is glued to the window thanks to
bonding inside technology.
The manufacturer systematically introduces
new products to their offering, ensuring that
they meet the requirements of individual
markets. Now, after successfully raising their
profile in Europe as a leading manufacturer, they
are preparing to do the same in North America.

30 YEARS OF
EXCELLENCE
» » THIS AUTUMN THE SECURITY
expert ERA celebrates thirty years of heritage
for its Fab&Fix range of decorative hardware.
With three decades of real world testing
and featuring truly matching products, the
range incorporates four distinct lines: Classic,
Heritage, Architectural and S-Series, thereby
ensuring a co-ordinated finished look for any
application, be it traditional or contemporary,
domestic or commercial.
With over 200 window and door products
in the range, and up to ten different finishes,
Fab&Fix is perfectly suited down to the last
screw and offers unparalleled flexibility. This
lack of restriction in suited style colour and
breadth of range is unique in the market.
The uniqueness doesn’t stop there: the
industry-renowned ‘Hardex’ surface finish
technology is only available on the Fab&Fix
range. This resilient coating has surpassed
1,000 hours of prohesion testing, making it
one of the most durable finishes available.
The range offers a ten-year complete peace

of mind guarantee, which covers function,
the finish and also forms part of ERA’s
‘Total Security Guarantee’. This is the most
comprehensive warranty on the market. If a
property is protected by ERA’s high security
locks and hardware, the company guarantees
to replace the homeowner’s damaged window
or door and pay out a cheque for £5,000
in the unlikely event that their security
is compromised. This payout is further
enhanced if the homeowner has an ERA
intruder alarm fitted.
Commenting on the 30th birthday of
the Fab&Fix range, Jemma Booker, ERA’s
Marketing Manager said:
“We’re proud of the considerable heritage
of the brand. A recent survey undertaken
with our customers revealed that Fab&Fix’s
quality is very highly regarded, with
functionality, availability and a broad range
of options also admired. With over 200
products and ten finishes available, it’s no
wonder customers rank us so highly for
choice.
“Interestingly, the survey has also
revealed that whilst Hardex Chrome is
still the most popular finish, Graphite and
Bronze are growing in popularity for more
contemporary doors and windows.
Here’s to another thirty years of Fab&Fix.
We can’t wait to see where the next three
decades take the brand.”
