Annual Review
Growth expected to hit 60%

two distinct brands, Highseal; windows and
doors and the new sister brand Cre8a which is
new this year. Cre8a will change rapidly as the
modular, bespoke Cre8a building side grows
in 2018 from a ‘pod’ to an extension system.
Growth is expected to hit 60% this year.
The introduction of DOC Q Kitemark via
BSI for the Synerjy suite has resulted in an
increase in the order book of over £4 million
in new builds, self-builds and networking
with fabricators. Coupled with the addition
of WarmCore fabrication in the latter part of
2017 this is a big investment and broadening
of product offering. MD Neil Donaldson adds
“Holly put us through BSI for windows, door
and double doors, we expect that to roll out
to aluminium soon and it has been a definite
win, win.”
Cre8a has been launched and is picking up
high value orders, growing in product offering,
style and Neil believes it will be the market
leader in this new range of garden buildings,
offices and extensions.

ANOTHER BUSY YEAR INVESTMENT WAS HIGH
ON THE AGENDA IN 2017

» » 2017 HAS BEEN A
fantastic year for Chase Taylor
Recruitment, with two new
additions to the team as well
as many new clients and
candidates! We attended our
4th consecutive visit to The
FIT Show as the only specialist
recruitment company
exhibiting. It was a great
opportunity to connect with » » INVESTMENT WAS HIGH
on Glazerite’s agenda for 2017
and we’ve committed heavily to
people, machinery, vehicles, and
IT systems.
Our North West factory has
performed particularly well and
following high demand for our
specialist products we moved in
to a 30,000 ft2 factory giving us
nearly double the area, whilst also
providing a Trade Counter and
Show Room in Wellingborough.
We have faced challenges posed
by technology with unbelievable
difficulties created in trying to
get the technical specification of
the broadband we needed to run
our business management systems
effectively for our East factory.
We were also the victims of a
cyber-attack, which a great IT
team minimised to just 27 hours
of inconvenience.
A major issue continues to
be recruitment, a nationwide
problem. New blood in the
industry is required, and we
have made further investment in
many industry candidates and
clients and learn more about
the exciting opportunities
and developments within
the sector. Our database
has expanded to over 7000
industry related candidates
from Installers and Factory
Floor staff through to
Managing Directors.
With many of our clients
already planning for their
New Year recruitment, 2018 is
looking like another busy year
for the team. If you are looking
to recruit for the New Year
now is the time to register your
vacancy. Candidates looking for
a new challenge in 2018 now
is an ideal time to update your
CV and send it in so we can
help you.
We would like to thank
all our candidates and clients
for their continued support
throughout 2017 and wish
everyone a prosperous 2018.

Analysis shows the industry

Glazerite have not been affected
by this but overall it has been a
tougher year than 2016. Overall I
am optimistic for the future.
