5. SOCIAL AND AMUSING
Those who know Supalite, will be aware
that the people behind this family-run
business loves to work hard, play hard, and
in doing so, bring a great following of loyalty
amongst their staff and customers.
Some of the business passions include
football - the sponsorship of the local girls
under 10s football team, where the girls all
wear their Supalite sponsored training jackets,
Pool - the company recently set-up a pool
team, and golf, a choice of sport for several
members of staff and Supalite customers.
On its latest golf day, Supalite saw nine
of its customers from across the country,
attend. Plied with bacon butties and mugs
of tea prior to the game, customers were
given the opportunity to be at the height of
competitiveness, contending against each
other. Lunch and awards were given out to
customers, but the award for best dressed on
the course had to go to Supalite’s National
Sales Manager, James Casby.
6. THE 360-DEGREE APPROACH
Supalite believes that the passion, loyalty
and compassion of its business retailers are
behind much of the success of the business.
Time and effort is taken to ensure the
business offers a 360-degree approach towards
its customer’s needs. It takes every aspect of
the relationship and constantly looks at how
they can develop and progress – from social
events to products, from personal visits to
annual and bi-annual conferences.
More recently, Supalite held its 3rd Annual
Conference in Derby, inviting all its approved
fabricators to join them. The conferences
have become a vital platform for the business
to help them share information, and
communicate ways of improving products,
selling and manufacturing techniques.
7. BOXING FIT
Back on the sporting front, Supalite
supports British super welterweight boxer
Scott Fitzgerald (Fitzy). The Lancashire-born
boxer has a good record of wins so far in
his career, which fits in line perfectly with
Supalite’s performance to deliver products.
Supalite recognised the young, up
and coming boxer, who decided to turn
professional in February 2016 after competing
and winning at the 2014 Commonwealth
Games in Glasgow. Scott defeated Indian
amateur boxer, Mandeep Jangra at the event,
receiving a gold medal.
Sponsorship is providing a winning
combination both for Supalite and this
talented young man, providing him with
financial assistance to help toward his training
and travel expenses. Scott remains undefeated
since turning pro, after seven fights.
