3. STELLAR GROWTH
Alu-tec UK Ltd has quadrupled its turnover in the last two
years. Major investment from the Climatec Group has seen massive
improvements in the factory and production processes and the
increase in staff, both office and factory has helped in satisfying the
demands from retail, trade and commercial customers. The rise in
popularity for aluminium products has seen Alu-tec fabricating up
to 20 bi-fold doors a week alongside aluminium shaped windows,
large commercial doors as well as your typical casement window and

4. SOUNDPROOF SCORE
Since 1993, the Climatec Group has fabricated over ¾ million
frames to date. These window and door frames have transformed
many homes, shops and offices, government buildings, like Remploy
House, and not forgetting providing Arsenal goalkeeper, Petr Cech’s,
soundproofed garden room for his drum kit twice! Once when he
played for Chelsea and then again when he moved to Arsenal.

5. MAKING THE GRADE

6. FROM THE START
Climatec has three members of staff (not including the Directors)
that have been holding the fort since year 1! John Banks, Climatec’s
Internal Sales, started work on the shop floor back in May 1993
alongside Martin Nicolini, who now runs the group’s Purchasing
Department and clocking up thousands of miles over 23 years
is Climatec’s driver, Del Poulton, delivering PVCu and aluminium
products to our trade customers.

There are also 9 fabricators who are still making windows for
Climatec 20 years later and Michelle Donovan has been working
in the Accounts department for almost 18 years.
The Climatec Group now employs 139 members of staff, 108
of those are responsible for the high quality products that the
company are renowned for manufacturing.

Climatec currently has 16
products tested and certified
to comply with building
regulations including PAS24,
Enhanced Security accreditation
and Document Q. Over the
years, it has been able to
offer 164 different window specifications that have been certified for
energy ratings and has 6 window types and 4 door types certified
and awarded Secured By Design accreditation. All of the products
manufactured by Climatec are CE Marked and a quality system is in
place to ensure all products are made to the highest standards.
