Emmegi (UK) has appointed Jeff
Rooke to the new position of
Service Manager as it steps up its
investment in its technical and

pace with current growth.
Jeff is a highly experienced
technical manager, having worked
in the industry for more than 25
years.
This is a new role which Jeff

CB Solutions, award winning
manufacturer and installer of windows,
doors and curtain wall systems,
celebrated its success earlier this
year with a move to a brand new
factory and £113K investment in
new machinery from elumatec.
»»“We look on the
move as the start of new era,”
said Christopher Burrell, CEO,
CB Solutions. “Moving into
the new factory gave us the
opportunity to introduce more
automation into our processes.
This will make us even more
competitive in our existing and
new markets.”
CB Solutions manufacture a
range of products for modular,
construction and associated
sectors and its key requirement
for the new machinery was
to speed up the production
process without compromising
accuracy.
“We discussed our
requirements in great detail
with elumatec and felt very
confident that their experience
would enable us to select the
best solutions for upgrading
our equipment.” Christopher
added.
Following a thorough
assessment of the company’s
current requirements and future
objectives, elumatec’s Technical
Sales Manager, Andrew Robson
recommended a SBZ122/64
profile machining centre, with
a power torque spindle to
machine thick-walled profiles
and lengths up to 7.05m. The
machine also has automatic
clamp positioning which saves
time when profile lengths have
to be changed often.

CB Solutions also purchased a
TS161/21 bead saw and an EMA
measuring system for highly
accurate cutting. A DG104
e355-6m double mitre saw was
added, providing fast cutting
with no length calculations or
correction values necessary. CB
Solutions also purchased eluCad
software which allows the
machinery to be programmed
from computers in the office.
