On a Mission
»»Based in the heart
of West Yorkshire, Alpine
Glass is on a mission to grow
its business and with the help
of window industry marketing
experts Purplex Marketing it is
putting all the right foundations
in place.
The team at Alpine has
nearly ten years’ experience in
the glazing industry, having
started out manufacturing
conservatory roofs in 2006. In
2012, they moved into retail,
installing a wide range of
PVCu, aluminium and timber
products.
Caroline Moffatt, Director

driving retail sales would require
an effective online marketing
strategy. At the same time,
Caroline wanted to entrust
Alpine’s marketing budget to
a company with the relevant
skills and experience to excel.

with not only impressive
credentials in web design and
online marketing but also really
understood our industry. The
team at Purplex have been
brilliant and we are all very
pleased with the new website
and continued online marketing
which is already starting to pay
dividends”

SMART WEBSITE
»»Clayton Glass has
just launched its new website
for SMARTGLASS® at www.
smart-glass.co.uk, which
incorporates the industry’s
first, smart glass selector for
conservatory roofs, doors and
windows and details its latest
pioneering SMARTGLASS®-W
and SMARTGLASS® Dynamic
powered by SageGlass products.
This new responsive website
is packed with useful product
information, large gallery;
FAQ’s, downloads and includes
a clever, interactive smart
glass selector. The interactive
SMARTGLASS® selector takes
account of conservatory location,
orientation, preferred choice of
tint and the ability to increase the
glass specification.
There’s also a section where
consumers and indeed the trade
can highlight the preferred
specification of the door and
window glass, to ensure that
there’s no risk of a glazing
solution that accommodates solar
heat gain, as windows under the
Window Energy Ratings do.
Within the selector there are three
options to choose from depending
upon which enhanced features are
required.
Jason McCabe, commercial
director of Clayton Glass
commented: “The new website
is a perfect portal for us to
shows off our market leading
product range. With our industry
first SMARTGLASS®-W and
SMARTGLASS® Dynamic
products we’re helping to
transform the way in which we
view glass.”
