sentenced for tax fraud

taxpayers of almost £32,000 has
been sentenced.

Director, Criminal Investigation,
HMRC, said:
“Tax fraudsters such as Steed
think they have an upper-hand
over those who pay what is due.
He stole from public finances
and would have continued his
fraud had HMRC not stopped
him. Our message is clear – if
you don’t pay what you should,
we will investigate. Anyone with
information about this type of
crime can contact the Customs
Hotline on 0800 59 5000.”
Steed pleaded guilty at
Aylesbury Crown Court in
October 2015. He was sentenced

Road Trip for
Network Veka
Members
saw 45 members, staff and friends
of Network VEKA head over to
VEKA AG from all corners of the
UK and Ireland.
While the majority of
delegates travelled via regional
airports, a number of committed
motorcyclists made the trip
on their beloved bikes. Dennis
Sumner from Force 8, Sue and Phil
Chick from Delta Plastics, Austin
Greene from Assure, and Assure
Inspector Graham Leonard each
journeyed on two wheels.

that Andrew Steed, 62, was paid
£275,900 in commission over a
nine-year period on the sales he
generated for a national window
company. However, he had failed to
complete Self Assessment returns.

‘fun’ and we’ve already received
some fantastic feedback.”
