DOORS&WINDOWS
Revealing
the mystery
around Räum
»»The company behind Räum, the
mysterious new brand that has been creating
much debate and speculation within the
industry, has been revealed as Lancashire based
fabricator Dekko Window Systems.
Räum is the brand name for Dekko’s new
range of high-end doors designed to help
installers capitalise on opportunities at the
higher end of the market. The collection
includes two aluminium bi-folding doors, three
aluminium patio doors, a PVCu patio door
and a slide and swing door.
Dekko sales director Kurt Greatrex discusses
Räum in more detail and explains the thinking
behind the Germanic brand name: “Räum
doors have a strong European design influence,
and one of the key benefits is how they create
space and light within the home. For example,
each vent in the Räum Gleiten77 bi-folding
door can measure up to 1200 x 3000, making
it the ideal door for truly spectacular projects.
‘I would urge any
companies that
are interested to
get in touch’
“Räum means ‘space’ in German and
encapsulates the message we want to
communicate. Now we have officially
launched the brand, stage two of our strategy
is to team up with likeminded installers that
want to sell these premium products. I would
urge any companies that are interested to get
in touch.”
As part of the launch, Dekko has created a
new website, complete with stunning images of
Räum installations. The website incorporates
an online bi-fold builder, enabling installers to
input their desired specifications and send over
to Dekko for a price.
