AUTOMATIC DOOR TRAINING OPEN TO INSTALLERS
» » CDW SYSTEMS, THE GLOUCESTER-
based trade and commercial fabricator, has
joined forces with automatic door specialists
Prosale to offer installer customers training
around automated doors.
The new training sessions extend a long and
successful partnership between the two firms
whereby CDW manufactures and supplies
aluminium doors, ready for Prosale to apply their
automated gearing. The training takes place at
Prosale’s state-of-the-art facilities in Gloucester
and is designed to give installers a complete
overview of specifying and installing sliding,
swinging and revolving automatic doors.
“We are absolutely delighted to partner
with Prosale to support their installer training
initiative,” comments Mike Davis, Managing
Director of CDW Systems. “Whilst automatic
doors may be a popular feature in a wide
variety of commercial projects, they can still be
complex. If specified or installed incorrectly,
they could quite easily cause projects to be
delayed or lead to costly call-backs to site.
“This training brings together the leader
in automatic door technology and one of
the industry’s most respected aluminium
fabricators to give installers complete product
and installation training on a wide range of
door systems. This not only ensures projects
are completed correctly, but reputations are
safeguarded, and relationships are protected.
It’s a fantastic initiative from Prosale and we’re
delighted to be involved.”
Mike Coggins, Director at Prosale
Automatic Doors adds: “We’re really thrilled
to have the support of CDW Systems for our
new training initiative. It’s fantastic to have
a company with the experience and expertise
of CDW Systems right on our doorstep. Our
shared passion for delivering unrivalled quality
and a complete service makes them a perfect
partner for our business and this initiative.
“We want to thank Mike and the CDW
team for their help with this training project
and their valuable supply partnership. The
training rigs supplied by CDW are not only
used for our training, but also by the ADIA
(Automatic Door Installation Association).
The ADIA frequently use our rigs and training
facilities for their courses and the response
has been incredibly positive which is great
to see. It’s all part of our commitment to
give installers across the UK the support and
confidence to install both of our companies’
products in all kinds of residential and
commercial projects.”

» » WILLIAMS WINDOWS IS AN
experienced double-glazing installer based in
Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. Renowned for
customer service and a wide array of products, the
team have made themselves a reputable name in
the home improvement industry in that area.
Williams Windows was named Endurance
Installer of the Month for July after getting
involved with the photography scheme;
whereby installers are encouraged to take
pictures of composite door installations.
Endurance caught up with Roz Williams
from Williams Windows:
How Long Have You Been an
Endurance Customer and
What Attracted You to the
Endurance Product Range?
“Just over three years. We moved to
Endurance because we believe the solid core
composite doors to be of a higher quality – they
don’t move or bow. We chose Endurance as
from the get-go they were keen to work with us
and offered great support.”
What Is Your Most Popular
Endurance Product?
“We do a lot of Abbot and Etna style
composite doors, with anthracite grey by far
our most popular colour.”
Would You Recommend Other
Installers to Join the Endurance
Preferred Installer Network?
“I would definitely recommend Endurance.
I think that the door designer is a great tool,
our customers love it. As part of the Installer
Network, we get access to that ourselves and
we also get leads.”
What Makes Endurance Different to
Other Composite Manufacturers?
“Firstly, there’s a massive choice of products,
they even now offer a foiled trim which
is brilliant. The relationship we have with
Endurance is fantastic right across the board,
even down to the delivery drivers, who I think
they get overlooked sometimes; they are an
asset to the Endurance team.”
Endurance’s Marketing Manager Scott
Foster took time to praise Williams Windows
for their hard work: “As part of our Preferred
Installer scheme, Williams Windows receive
homeowner leads generated by Endurance
which are always followed up quickly and
professionally. Williams Windows also
regularly share high quality photography of
their Endurance doors installations. We have
even commissioned professional photography
of installations they have shared with us.”
