Federation (GGF) is pleased to announce
that Kevin Schofield, Editor of Politics
Home, will host and present at the GGF’s
Annual Members’ Day Conference on 26th
September at Hilton Olympia, London.
Kevin is a renowned political journalist
having worked in the national press for
over a decade. Kevin also regularly features
as a guest on Sky News’ Press Preview
programme.
Members’ Day is the outstanding
highlight in the GGF’s annual events
calendar and this year’s outing promises to
be another exceptional day of healthy debate,
engaging presentations and great networking
opportunities.
In addition to Members’ Day, the GGF
is also planning a networking event on the
evening before, with exclusive use of the
Museum of Brands in Notting Hill which has
multiple features that convey the history and
evolution of many of the world’s most famous
brands.
These events are free to all GGF Members
and are part of Members’ benefits. All
Members are advised to email marketing@ggf.
org.uk if they are planning to attend either or
both Members’ Day or the evening Network
event.

MADNESS TOPS THE BILL AT CHARITY RACE NIGHT

an afternoon of racing, followed by dinner
and evening entertainment courtesy of
legendary ska band, Madness, at Glazerite
UK Group Ltd’s annual charity Race Night at
Newmarket Racecourse.
Glazerite’s guests raised over £1300 for the
charity We Mind & Kelly Matters, which was
founded this year by Glazerite Chairman,
John Hewitt, in memory of his late daughter,
Kelly. Jason Thompson, Group Managing
Director for Glazerite says: “It was a terrific
night with a few lucky winners amongst our
customers and suppliers. The biggest winner

on the night though was the charity, We
Mind & Kelly Matters, which John set up to
help break down the stigma around mental
health.
“We were delighted to have been joined on
what was a very enjoyable evening by so many
of our customers and suppliers. We’re very
grateful to them all to have raised so much for
the charity. We also had a superb gesture from
Paul Sullivan from Anglo European Ltd who
has agreed to support the charity throughout
2019.”
