SEMINARS TO ADDRESS COMPLIANCE ISSUES

LEADING SUSTAINABLE BUILDING envelope specialist , Schueco UK , has announced that it will be running a series of free seminars designed to address compliance issues in the aluminium façades , windows and doors market in the UK .
Schueco UK believes that following the publication of the final report of the Hackitt Review , compliance is a topic that every responsible company needs to address urgently and expects that demand for these seminars will be very high .
Aimed at architects , consultants and main contractors , the seminars will take place on a quarterly basis in Schueco UK ’ s new
London Office and Showroom in Great Portland Street , London W1 . A specialist speaker will be present at each seminar and the presentations will be followed by questionand-answer sessions . Alternatively , individual seminars can be arranged at the offices of specifiers or contractors , if preferred .
The seminars , which will be relaxed and informal with refreshments , will follow a recognised CPD format enabling participants to earn points to put towards their annual CPD total . A full programme will be released shortly .

WITH A FANTASTIC NEW venue in London , more than 100 PIGS ( People in Glazing Society ) attended London PIGS on 14th June .
Organiser Sarah Ball from Balls2 Marketing , says “ PIGS is networking at its very best . Old faces and new checked into The Warwick for another successful evening . The room we used filled up quickly after kick-off ; an appropriate term , because London PIGS was on the same day as the first game in the World Cup . Not that it affected the number of people ; we were really impressed with the turnout .
