RECENT INVESTMENTS BY MORLEY Glass & Glazing have doubled its production capacity , making it possible to manufacture up to 3000 sealed units with integral blinds per week .
The business , which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year , specialises in manufacturing Uni-Blind ® sealed units with ScreenLine ® integral blinds inside . It has invested £ 700,000 in a second IGU production line , which has now been installed at its 50,000 sq ft factory in Leeds .
Ian Short , managing director at Morley Glass & Glazing , said : “ When we moved into larger premises in 2016 we invested
in a 58-metre long automated sealed unit production line from Best Makina . I ’ m pleased to say that the quality and efficiency of the equipment was so impressive that we were happy to invest in a second line .”
Morley Glass has achieved 30 % yearon-year growth as demand continues to increase for its Uni-Blind ® sealed units with ScreenLine ® blinds inside , and this growth is set to continue . The Uni-Blinds ® range provides the widest choice of integral blinds in double and triple glazed units , with all manual , solar and motorised versions available in the industry ’ s shortest lead-time of 10 days from 11am any Friday .

Debut FIT Show success leads to second sign up

DEKKO WINDOW SYSTEMS , THE UK ’ s leading premium fabricator , has announced that it will be exhibiting at The FIT Show 2019 . Celebrating a decade in business , Greater Manchester-based Dekko Windows Systems was founded by Gary Torr and Kurt Greatrex , and is one of the leading fabricators of high-end uPVC and aluminium windows and doors .
Following on from an impressive debut last year , the firm will be showcasing its complete product range including Infinity - the completely seamless uPVC range , Räum aluminium and the Residence Collection . Sales Director Kurt Greatrex even promises a few surprises when doors open at the NEC .

MORLEY GLASS & GLAZING , THE UK ’ s market leader in the manufacture of Uni- Blinds ® sealed units with integral blinds inside , has moved to further grow its aftersales and distribution capabilities to support its current growth strategy .
To help it deliver on its promise of 10-day delivery for orders received before 11am on Fridays , the business will now enjoy the support of five additional vehicles , supplied by JDS Trucks of Leeds . This the total fleet up to 26 vehicles ; each totting up over 100,000 miles annually across the UK .
Morley ’ s sales and aftersales services have also received a boost with the appointment of Jess Owens as Aftersales Administrator and Estimator . Jess brings with her a wealth of glass knowledge from her previous role at Oaklands Glass and will work as part of the Morley sales team to provide quotes in an industry-leading 60 minutes or less .
