Cornwall Glass has
announced the launch
of its in-house interior
and exterior, acid-etched
decorative float glass
range – Opaletch.
» » STORED AND PROCESSED IN THE
same way as ordinary float glass, Opaletch
can be cut, drilled and toughened
as standard, without any special
adaptation.
This makes it suitable for a
wide variety of applications
from splashbacks, shelving
and shower screens, to
office or home partitioning,
balustrading, external glazing
and cladding and more.

Opaletch is available in 12 different
patented designs. This includes satin;

diagonal, offset, hatched,
over-lapping and Opaletch,
lines; dots; ovals; pills; waves
and overlapping waves.
It’s available in a variety of
thicknesses from stock. The most sought
after thickness generally requested seem to
be 4mm and 10mm. Other thicknesses are
available upon request. Standard stock sizes
are 3210mm X 2250mm or 1320mm X
2140mm.
The acid-etching process is applied to single
sides as standard but can also be manufactured
with a dual-sided finish depending on
application and the light translucence and
finish required.
