PROUD SPONSOR OF INDUSTRY NEWS INDUSTRYNEWS NEW VEHICLES GET THERE FASTER, CLEANER AND MORE EFFICIENTLY » » PIONEER TRADING HAS UPPED ITS game with new delivery vehicles that will reduce the company’s fleet costs whilst ensuring pollution during the delivery of its energy saving windows, doors and conservatories is reduced to the minimum. Three new Iveco 7.5 tonne Eurocargo vehicles are amongst the most fuel-efficient available today whilst enjoying an excellent reputation for reliability. Managing Director Danny Williams says that as well as making sense for the company he is personally keen to reduce the company’s environmental impact, “I am very aware of the irony of offering products that are marketed and purchased for their energy efficiency but which then have a significant impact on the environment during their manufacture and delivery. “We continuously monitor and update our manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and these new vehicles will have a significant impact on our energy and pollution values during their delivery cycles. All businesses have to think this way now as a matter of course, and our business strategy now requires us to always choose equipment and systems that become available to reduce our environmental impact.” www.pioneertradingcompany.co.uk Audit Boosts Company for New Owners » » NEW FACTORY, NEW PRODUCTION lines – plus a whole new way of thinking – and now, newly-acquired Hertfordshire fabricator Welglaze has gained a major boost from a 95% score from CMS auditors that puts it in the top 20% of all companies of its kind. The accreditation is just the latest step in the development of Welglaze since it became part of Audasi Holdings, owner of Quickslide, and set about adopting the same standards and values as its new sister company, as the Group’s Chairman Adrian Barraclough explained: “Welglaze already has a loyal customer base and a great reputation as a Deceuninck fabricator. We have worked hard since the acquisition to build on those strong roots so it is very rewarding to hear such praise from such a respected independent source. He added that, while the transformation began with a move to a completely new factory and significant investment in new production equipment the much bigger step was to bring the Quickslide culture of product quality and customer service and integrate that into everything Welglaze does. That new culture has been widely applauded by customers such as Dorking Windows. http://www.welglaze.co.uk NEW SOCIAL MEDIA INITIATIVE LAUNCHED » » SOLID CORE COMPOSITE DOOR pioneer, Endurance® Doors, have just unveiled their new #YouAskedEnduranceListened initiative, which is the result of responding 30 » AUG 2017 » CL EARVI E W- UK .
