Show Gala Dinner at the NEC
exceeds all expectations
» » WITH OVER 1000
people in attendance – a
record – the first FIT Show
Gala Dinner at the show’s new
home, the NEC, Birmingham,
proved a roaring success
exceeding the expectations of
not only the organisers but its
attendees also.
Arriving to a champagne
reception, guests were spilling
out of the NEC doors due to
the sheer volume of numbers
at this year’s event. Upon
entering the main hall guests
were wowed by the Burlesque-
themed layout and stage set
up – and this was all before any
performers even stepped out on
to the floor.
As the food and drink
started flowing so did the
entertainment. For one night
only Birmingham switched
places with the French capital.
Inviting guests to step into the

Rouge had opened its doors
for the FIT Show – although
in place of Ewan McGregor
proceedings were hosted by TV

In order to achieve Kitemark

undergo regular assessment visits
and audit tests by BSI to ensure
the products are extruded in
accordance with BS EN 12608.
The award is the second in
six months celebrating Synseal
Group’s excellence in PVC-U
extrusion after the company was
awarded Systems Company 2016
at the National Fenestr ation
Awards, the only awards voted
for by the industry. Synseal’s
popular WarmCore brand has
also recently won an award
for advanced manufacturing
innovation, recognising Synseal
Group as a market leader in the
fenestration industry.
