SHOWROOM SPACE DOUBLED
»»
IT’ S BEEN A TRANSFORMATIVE twelve months for Dekko Window Systems. Opening a cutting-edge new production facility, launching its rapturously-received high-end door brand Räum, and following that up with the ground-breaking Infinity range of graf welded PVCu has left it with a lot to shout about – and now, the Ashton- Under-Lyne fabricator has invested in a new showroom to exhibit its significantly expanded product portfolio.
The new development has allowed Dekko to overhaul the way it showcases its products. The newly built facility will be used to introduce customers to Infinity – displaying the bespoke selection of graf welded windows and doors in an environment where visitors can physically see the difference between their seamless welds and industry-standard corner joins, as well as the extensive range of colours and finishes Infinity frames are available in. This will allow Dekko’ s pre-existing showroom to be used to showcase the rest of the products in its comprehensive product range.
“ We’ ve experienced incredible growth over the past few years and really diversified our product range, and so the time was right for us to create extra space to show it off,” commented Kurt Greatrex, Dekko Sales Director.

TESTING & CERTIFICATION READY TO WHIP UP A STORM

INDEPENDENT UKAS ACCREDITED testing laboratory and certification body, Wintech Testing & Certification, is pleased to announce a further investment back into the business with the refurbishment of a key tool when it comes to testing – its aircraft engine.
The Pratt & Whitney Double Wasp( R- 2800) aircraft engine, in situ at Wintech’ s UKAS accredited laboratory in Telford, was modified to create the type of extreme winds that customers’ products have to resist during the testing process and its upkeep is essential, as Technical Director, Mike Wass, explains:“ It is a vital piece of equipment in the testing process for us and investment in its maintenance is crucial. We recently sent it for a general MOT and refurbishment in order to ensure that it continues to perform in the way it is supposed to on behalf of our customers.
“ An aircraft engine MOT is a significant investment. But, with new customers joining us all the time and new business generated by
the recent launch of our WinMark Enhanced Security Certification schemes, not only does investment in our equipment keep us ahead of demand, but the growth we have experienced allows us to put back into the business in order to future proof it.”
