NEW SLIM MEETING RAIL
»»
IT WAS ALREADY respected industry-wide as the most authentic PVCu verticalsliding flush sash window ever conceived – but now sash window expert, Roseview Windows, has taken its acclaimed Ultimate Rose one step further, launching an upgraded model that’ s even more faithful to the classic timber originals that inspired its design.
Released in 2013 as part of Roseview’ s much-celebrated Rose Collection, the original Ultimate Rose broke new ground with its forensic attention to detail, replicating iconic timber features like putty lines, full mechanical joints and run-through sash horns. Pushing the boundaries of what many had thought possible with PVCu, the Ultimate Rose went on to win a coveted G-Award in 2013. It’ s since been cleared for use in dozens of conservation areas.
Roseview Marketing Manager, Mike Bygrave, says:“ We’ ve always seen product development as a continuous process of constant, gradual evolution.
“ We’ ve developed our own meeting rail profile – getting rid of the tell-tale interlock line that
‘ We’ ve always seen product development as a continuous process of constant, gradual evolution’
immediately shows anyone in the know that a product isn’ t timber. At the same time, we’ ve cut the meeting rail depth by 9.5mm. It was incredibly slim as it was, but now, at just 35mm, it’ s the slimmest on the market.”

BI-FOLD SPECIALIST BREAKING RECORDS
»»
THE MD OF A specialist bi-fold fabricator says that continued investment has put it on track to reach its ambitious manufacturing goals and keep on breaking records.
Terry Richardson established TWR Bifolds two years ago after spotting an opportunity in the premium residential and commercial door market.
His aim was to help installers take advantage of this lucrative emerging market through supplying quality aluminium bi-fold doors and offering a world class service.
Terry’ s business formula proved popular with installers and TWR Bifolds quickly grew from a standing start
to manufacturing 35 bi-fold aluminium doors per week.
Terry anticipates this figure to increase with the opening of TWR’ s second factory, which is a result of significant growth across the business.
The new 25,000 sq ft factory in Peterlee, County Durham, is where TWR will exclusively manufacture bi-fold doors and it is set to be one of the biggest dedicated bi-fold door manufacturing plants in the UK.
TWR has invested hundreds of thousands of pounds in new machinery for the production of aluminium bi-folds, which has been ordered and delivered ahead of the opening of the new site this summer.
Sensational six months marked with three new brochures

FOLLOWING ON FROM ONE OF THE busiest and most successful six months in its history, seeing it make a landmark FIT Show debut and launch the latest iteration of its best-in-class PVCu sash window, the Ultimate Rose, respected fabricator Roseview has released a suite of brochures designed to help it and its customers promote its signature Rose Collection.
In a departure from its previous approach to marketing literature, the company has released not just one but three different brochures, each tailored to the needs of a different audience.
Written in accessible, jargon-free language and packed with stunning images of its Rose Collection sash windows, the new retail brochure has been targeted at homeowners. It provides Roseview’ s installer clients with a valuable tool for increasing conversions and boosting sales.
The conservation brochure caters to architects, specifiers and conservation officers, an increasingly important target demographic for Roseview as its incomparably authentic Rose Collection windows are cleared for use in a growing number of conservation areas.
Finally, the commercial brochure details how Rose Collection products can be tailored to the requirements of even the most stringent commercial briefs, including Secured by Design and Lifetime Homes accreditations.
