DOORS&WINDOWS
SECOND TO NONE SERVICE
»»NATIONAL PLASTICS IS THE UK’S
largest independent trade counter network and
when you visit one of the stores it’s easy to see
why. Quite simply, the overall experience is
second to none.
This is a view shared by long-standing
National Plastics customer, Turner Windows
of Somerton Ltd. For circa 19 years Turner
Windows has been a regular customer of
National Plastics and owner, Craig Turner,
is very clear why. He said, “The service we
get from National Plastics is superb. From
the stock availability, staff knowledge and
reliable service, they work with us and keep
us informed at every stage. Even if there is a
problem, which is rare, they find a solution
quickly and efficiently.”
Turner Windows uses the Weston-SuperMare store and has built a very strong
relationship with the team. Craig says, “Our
day to day contact with Richard Bishop,
who runs the Weston store, is excellent. He
understands our business needs and knows the
importance of holding a vast stock level and
delivering on time to us. Their staff knowledge
makes life so much easier and if Richard
cannot help, we have the direct number to
Managing Director, Geoff Foster.”

TWO NEW DOOR DESIGNS
»»ENDURANCE® DOORS HAS
introduced two new door designs, the Cader Idris
and the Pentland, which were developed before
the FIT Show, as the solid and secure composite
door brand continues to build market share.
Forming part of its Classic Collection,
these two new additions take inspiration from
typical 1930s-style doors, with the Cader Idris
featuring an arched top light and the Pentland
a rectangular top light with Georgian bars.
Adding to this period inspired design is the
preferred option of a Winkhaus AV2 heritage
lock, which is opened from the outside by
key and internally by thumb turn, the door
locking as soon as it is closed.
With the recent introduction of foiled rich
red, racing green and French navy PVCu door
frames, there’s further opportunity to build a
composite door specification that’s steeped in
period inspired design, yet with modern day
functionality.
Stephen Nadin, Managing Director of
Endurance® Doors, commented: “These two
new door designs are an important addition
to our product range. Over the last 18 months
the investment in marketing and product
development has been considerable and we’re
now experiencing unprecedented growth
for our solid and secure timber composite
doors.”
